A good starter kit.
My uncle love this it's got pretty much everything you need in it besides the skill and experience with sadly can't be bought. If I have one complaint it's that I would have preferred it come in a nicer box but I knew the box it was coming when I bought it so that's not really a complaint.

Great kit for Beginners!
I am new at flying ties, and this is a fantastic starter kit. Gives you almost everything you need to get started. I already bought some extra items but didn’t really need to. The only thing I wanted that wasn’t in there were the beads to use as a minnow head. Great kit, well worth the money.

Fly tying box gift ideas
This was a gift for the husband. He absolutely loved it and thought it was a good selection of products. He is not a novice at fly tying, but he said if you are a novice, this would give you a good assortment.

Nice for the beginner
Nice assortment decent price and I seen a lot of negative reviews on the thread I’m a beginner and have no problem with the thread breaking after I adjusted the tension on the bobbin by loosening the springs a little and learned how much force you can use on winding

Lots of stuff but no labels
My wife got this for me as a Christmas gift to get me started in fly tying. It definitely comes with a bunch of stuff, however, none of it is labeled. How does a beginner know what's what in here as this is supposed to be a "starter" set? Guess I'll have to figure it out, but this is disappointing to say the least.

Huge Variety
All kinds of stuff to make lots of flies. Handy carrying case. Not a lot of neutral colors.

Lots of goodies!
Lots of good materials. The dyed deer hair is a little rough to work with but thats typical
