Easy to use, worth the money. Making sure the gate is closed. Very well built, feels strong enough to make sure it closes.the self closure function looks good for the weight and functionality.

This gate latch was easy to install and works flawlessly. Now I can close my gate after exiting the back yard and not worry about dogs escaping. To re-enter the back yard, a simple pull on the wire loop disengages the latch. Easy peasy!

My gate latch gave up the ghost about two months ago by breaking apart. After looking at reviews, I chose this gate latch. After two months of use, I can say I am very happy with it. The cable that passes through the gate to release the latch is comfortable to grab and easy to trim to the desired length. The return spring works well and always latches the gate closed. The metal parts feel strong and sturdy. I only gave it four starts because the mounting screws that come with it are complete junk and will break the head off with very little force while tightening them. I replaced the screws with sturdy ones and it makes this latch a great replacement. If they did not cheap out and used better mounting screws it would be perfect, but by simply using your own better quality screws, it makes this latch a great item.

Works as described - I like the spring action. But we dropped the little (very little!!) pin for the cable lock and could not find it. Ended up crimping the cable to keep in place.

Straight forward and it works, all hardware included, well engineered.

I purchase this latch for my chicken coop that I built. It was easy to install, works perfectly, and matches the style I was going for. I will be purchasing another one for my fence gate.

The system works well, but the instructions are really poorly drafted. The mechanism comes with a spring but it is not easy to see its utility and how to install it.
