Great camera, we bought 3
We almost didn't buy this camera, based off the reviews. It did sound like it checked all our boxes so we figured it was Amazon, if it failed we could easily return it. Long story short, we now own 3 and they are working well. We never experienced any of the negative review setup issues, though don't doubt them as every product has successes, and failures. Feedback from our experience of 6 months of use..the camera quality overall is very good. Setup was easy and they have performed flawlessly the past few months. If we were to provide constructive feedback, it would be the motion sensing and motion sensing mapping seems buggy. There's a big difference between 80% and 90% sensitivity, for example. And the feature to adjust where motion can be detected doesn't seem to work very well, or at all. I adjusted it for weeks and never had much success. The new cloud feature is great, we just purchased that. $6 and it's much faster to watch video's because you're going to the cloud, not over cellular to the camera (which can be $$)

Super fast tracking, easy install, low power usage, high quality
This was super easy to install and you can get the SIM card needed for connectivity very easily through your local cell provider store or by calling in. Once setup it is easy to connect to the app and offers a lot of nice features. Mainly though it tracks extremely fast and captures motion near and far simultaneously. So you can basically see two angles for a clip any time it detects motion as it has both a zoomed in view and a wide view. The build quality is quite high and having had a number of durable Reolink cameras I expect it will work reliably for a long time. The solar panel keeps the charge high even with fairly regular activity so the power consumption seems fairly low.You can set various pre set locations to jump to but it generally automatically detects and tracks motion. If you keep its “home” location aimed away from a busy activity area it won’t detect that activity though it does have a fairly wide view overall.I have moderate activity and my data use is less than 1 GB a month but more than 500 MB.

Both my cameras stopped working after a while!!
Camera itself is good and solid built and works fine until it stops working, either by not accepting the data sim card, or simply won’t turn on at all no matter what you do, I bought two cameras and both ended up not working, one is just dead and the other one I tried everything, resetting it multiple times, installed a new sim card which also didn’t work although same card worked just fine in another camera. Apart from this camera I previously had a smaller WiFi solar outdoor cam from Reolink and that died too after a year and half I guess. One last working unit is left, let’s see when that stops.

Surprisingly good.
Using this camera to keep an eye on a remote piece of property located a few hours away. The motion tracking is exceptionally good (way better than I expected), the image is clear, and the video stable. I'm using a t-mobile prepaid SIM and at $10 for their 2gb plan, it's pretty affordable per camera. Set up was no muss no fuss - literally just popped a SIM and SD card in it, used the app to add it, and it was up and running. It hasn't fallen below 90% charge yet, even at night, and the build quality itself is pretty stout with the camera having a metal body. I do wish the mount for the camera itself wasn't plastic, but I've got it secured to a tree with some decking screws, so I don't anticipate anything being able to get to it.It's so good thus far, that I just ordered another one. I'll come back and update this review if anything changes for better or worse.*update - March 10, 2024*Added a second camera as previously noted, and they're both still working flawlessly. They've made it through the overcast West Virginia winter, and the battery life never fell below 80%. Snow, rain, wind, ice, and everything else winter could throw at them didn't seem to matter. There was one instance where ice had formed over the camera lens, but live viewing the camera and activating the built in LED light seemed to warm it up enough to melt the ice off within a matter of minutes. Overall, still pretty impressed. Like before, will update if anything else notable occurs, but for the time being they're still going strong.
