The funnel part is tapered from 5cm to 2cm and is 5cm deep. It fits securely into the oil filling hole with the body of the funnel resting on the crankshaft cover of my Audi TT. The offset of the funnel makes this possible. When using be aware it not a tight fit so it can move if you fill it too quickly. Much better than a traditional shape funnel that can full over and make you shout nasty words at it.
