Funko Marvel 4399 "POP! Bobble Loki with Helmet Figure

Loki is my first Funko POP figure and although I was a bit dubious about buying him I am now absolutely delighted!Standing at about 12.5 cm (almost 5") he is pretty dinky, but full of character. Dressed in his 'Thor 2 The Dark World' costume he has gold painted details and green painted trim on his outfit. His dagger is painted gold and silver and his iconic helmet is gold also. The figure is well painted with all the detail in the right place and there is quite a bit of carved detail to his clothes, helmet and boots which really makes the figure.I was a little worried having read up on Funko POPs that they can sometimes be top heavy and not stand on their own. Loki however stands very well and even resists gentle knocks as he is quite weighty and heavier than I anticipated. It is interesting to note that his head is a 'bobble version' which I understand most POP figures are not. I was worried he would be nodding away all the time, but unless he is touched the head remains still. Personally I really like the gentle nodding effect and it brings a little more cuteness and gentle humour to him.Having checked him against the other Thor Funko Pops I am disappointed to find he doesn't have his cloak. The previous helmeted version did, but this Loki Dark World figure lacks it. Personally I think it would have been a nice addition as the Dark World Thor has his cloak, but having looked at this figure it would have meant you couldn't see the back of his costume and that would be a shame as he is sculpted so well.Being a huge Marvel and Loki fan I can recommend this little figure to any avid collector. Personally I can't wait to buy another Funko POP as they look great and make you smile. Currently my Loki sits on my desk, and when I am stuck on a particularly challenging bit of work he gives me a few gentle nods of encouragement, which often I need. I am a collector of Funko Pop and this one is really excellent. They have messed up the design on some and they have had issues with balance and I worried that it would be the case with Loki because of this helmet. Glad to report that they have nailed it. Pleasing vinyl finish. Great detailing. Highly recommeneded

It is precise in the design, soft at touch, the box was perfect and it is a good piece for a collector and also a very nie toy for kids to play good guys vs bad guys. I'llprobably add some more in time.

A little top heavy, but it adds to the cuteness. Fear Me PlzPs, would recommend bluetak or some non-staining gooey stick gum thing (Not chewing gum!) If you want him to stand guard over your car.

I bought this as a birthday gift for a friend of mine, who is a major Loki-fan. Luckily, I did not get one of the Loki-figures without colour, as some people have mentioned. However, the paint job on this figure definitely is disappointing, when you compare it to the usual standards of Funko POp-figures.First of all, the skin is definitely a little pink compared to what the picture shows, however, it's not bright pink, as some reviews suggest, so that didn't bother me much. What did bother me though was the quality of the green and gold painting. In several places, the paint had spilled over the edges/lines, including on the head, where there were golden edges on Loki's cheeks from the helmet. And also, for some strange reason, the green lines across his chest don't meet, even though they clearly do on the drawings on the box (although this is displayed on the figure in the above picture, so apparently it's a common feature of the figure).All in all, my friend really liked it, although she did notice some of the paint defects too. That's why I'm giving it an average 3 stars.

Love my little Loki, his head is tilted downward slightly but when placed on a shelf it looks like he is surveying his kingdom so it works! Quick delivery as well and its a good quality item, overall I'm very happy
