bought to put away for xmas so can not comment on childs reaction to the book. It is a nice size board book with only a few pages but lots of flaps to look under and see whats hiding. I think its a lovely book and worth buying

Great book for young children - big, sturdy, colourful and lots of flaps. Only downside is how abbreviated the story is. I had to buy the full book too.

This is a nice book with lots of flaps, I bought it for my 3 year old's birthday as it is in December and she is obsessed with watching the Grinch over and over. It really is only just suitable for her, she would usually read a longer book. There are only about 4 or 5 pages with only 4 sentences per page so very brief. The first page manages to cover the entirety of the Grinch actually stealing Christmas, and the last few pages are about him giving it back.If your child is too young for the original story but they love Dr Seuss, this is a nice introduction to the Grinch story, but won't last them for long.

There are a lot of flaps and is well made, but I’m a bit dissapointed in how shorthened this version is compared to the original. It goes straight to Grinch stealing things without describing him or the whole idea of stealing Christmas, which in the original is half of the story...

This is a very cute Christmas book to get your little ones. I would not recommend it for your young kids if they rip pages out of books etc. For instance, I have 2 18 month old twins and the one will rip the flaps out of any book (unless they are the hard board books with the board flaps) and my other 18 month old only lifts them up, doesn't rip them out. But the book itself is great and there are so many flaps in the book that it makes it a blast to be able to open them all up and see what's under them etc.

As another review said, many many flaps (sometimes too much?) and very little content compared to the original. But for those reasons it could be a great beginner book for a baby/toddler! I bought this thinking our little one would love it, but she got the original first and loved that story so this one didn’t apply as much since the text was very reduced. Still fun & colourful!
