Q: Does this promote weight loss?

I think it's unlikely to as a stand alone weight loss product ! My understanding is that weight loss happens as a product of healthy living with balance of exercise, rest, sleep and a nutrtious diet. This tea is calming and soothing thus assisting the nervous system to settle and can be used of part of a nourishing lifestyle.

Q: What does it mean when it says: with a lot of sweetness? Is there added suger in it?

As I have no recollection of ever buying this tea, I regret to say that I have no idea but I imagine that it refers more to the nature of the tea than to any additives such as sugar.

Q: from your description it seems like this is an aged raw pur erh, that is ripen naturally without bacteria or mold which is what they call ripe pur erh

Dear, this is very soft shou, or ripened pu-erh tea. These sorts of pu-erh teas slowly improve with age as well although different than raw pu-erh tea.

Q: I didnt get an email or instructions on how to make this tea. Can someone please explain how to brew it? Thanks.

It says on the package; 3 grams tea in 250 ml water at 80 degrees Celsius, brew for 5 minutes. But it doesn't say how frequent.
