Sleek, Sturdy, and Easy to Install – Great Upgrade!
The build quality is excellent; it feels solid and well-crafted, not cheap plastic or thin metal. The clean, minimalist design gives my home a much-needed upgrade from traditional outdated vent covers. It blends seamlessly into my decor and actually complements the aesthetic of the room rather than detracting from it.

Worked perfectly
This vent worked very well easy to install and adjust the vent air flow. We painted the entire bathroom a medium/dark blue. We scuffed this up to remove the shine, put some adhesion primer, then paint. It disappears into the ceiling and doesn’t stand out like a sore thumb like the old one. Love the new look.

Great update!
Don’t underestimate the difference updating your ac vents will make! I started by ordering only one just to see what I even thought of these in person and if installation was really a pain, etc. Well, within days, I think I’ve ordered about 10 now. (Amazon Prime Days brought good discounts!) The 12x12 ones fit in easily then 4 screws and done. The rectangle ones, not so easily, but that’s not because of the vents. That’s because of how the house was built and these holes were cut— so uneven. My regular a/c maintenance happened to be scheduled the after most of these vents arrived so I asked my maintenance guy if he could put them in for me. He did and I watched him use knives and screwdrivers to scrape off and even out what he found and hold the metal insides back so he could fit the new vent inside there. He said all new vents are a pain and some take them around 30 minutes each just because the builders never cut the holes properly and just shove the original vents up there. So, yes, you might have to wrestle with a few, but once they are in, wow, what a difference. Beautiful. Clean. I love them.

Bit tough to install, but very high quality and looks great.
Got this to replace a noisy basement air vent that's right next to the A/C unit. I'm pretty happy with the reduction in sound and how great it looks. The directional venting is a bit tough to do, I had to use a flathead screwdriver to move mine. Overall I'm impressed and these are certainly worth the cost.

Awesome Replacement Vents!
My house was built in 1973 and originally used a swamp cooler. After modernizing to AC years ago, I was left with the old swamp cooler vents which are loud and have little control leaving the house uneven with hot or cold spots everywhere. After replacing with these BUILDMART Linear Slot Diffuser, the house is more even, less noice, the design allows heat/cool without the direct blowing of other vents in one place and nothing elsewhere... More even if you will.I highly recommend these for older houses or any house. These look better, work better and just overall are better.NOTE: The screws are hidden on each side and not seen once installed.1: Depending on the age of your house, it may require a liitle work to get something to screw into!2: Use a long 4" - 6" inch #2 bit on your screw or ¼" impact gun to ease install.3: If your duct work in not really square, just work with it until it does, gently with a small hammer in the corners.

ok product
Wind noise when air/heat is on, but liked the simple style. Too Expensive for the type of product this is to have these kinds of issue.
