Q: I'm seeing a lot of complaints about the final polish not working. Does anyone know what might be the cause of this?

Believe what you read about the polish not working with this labeled 1200 grit. It has not been working for a wide segment of it's purchasers. Find a different source for polish and make sure to look at all reviews. This is happening to new tumblers as well as some senior tenured tumblers. Cheap product is just that, you get what you pay for. Beware!

Q: there isnt any scoop, nor are there insteuctions, 2 scoops of what do I use?

I use a plastic tablespoon, one for each grit, to prevent cross contamination of the grits. The amount you will use depends on the hardness of the rock and the size of the barrel. Average amount to use is 4 tablespoons per 3lb barrel. You can add more, if needed. There are some great rock tumbling sites online or Facebook for more detailed info.

Q: Can you use this stuff in a vibratory polisher?

This grit is garbage; I wouldn't use it in any tumbler.
