Broil King 18674 Propane Infrared Side Burner Kit, Black, Silver

I ordered a used version on Amazon Warehouse, and it arrived missing parts, mainly the adapter to connect to the gas, knob adapter, and manual. I returned, and this time purchased a NEW model, and it had exactly the same issues. Missing parts!I called Amazon, and was shipped another brand new model, and returned the 2nd attempt. When the 3rd arrived, it was also supposed to be NEW, but it had clearly been opened, and was again, missing exactly the same parts as the first 2 orders.I also contacted the manufacturer, Broil King, to enquire about them sending spares for the small missing parts. The Broil King representative refused to help, and suggested that I contact Amazon to see if they had the spare parts. As if!Not only do i Not recommend this burner, I would suggest staying away from Broil King altogether! I now firmly regret that I'm stuck with a $1,500 grill that my wife got me for Father's Day. I shoud've insisted on WEBER! They have awesome customer service, and their products are better quality.A message to Broil King: That you build your grills in North America is commendable. However, that fact loses all value since your Quality Assurance, and Customer Support service are pathetic jokes. I will be a WEBER loyalist from now on--just need to get rid of your s490 Pro grill without hurting my wife's feelings. Chinese vendors have better customer service than this fly by night outfit.

The sear burner that was easy to installworks well and had a great price much much less than anyone else. This is a unique product and will work with only a very few grills so pay attention to what the description says

Sending the replacement back and getting a refund. Now I have 2 packages I have to send back. I really was looking forward to installing this burner kit.

Received mine and it's missing all the parts everyone else mentioned as well. Amazon is sending me a replacement but I'm not hopeful. I'd be glad to buy the parts but this is kind of ridiculous. It seems like this is a manufacturing mistake moreso than Amazon's. I usually don't give bad reviews but this are some serious quality control issues with this products packaging. The manufacturer is the one that needs to make it right.UPDATE: Received my replacement from Amazon, same story as everyone else. It's still missing the parts necessary for installation. You literally only get the parts in the pictures. I'm trying to see if the manufacturer can help out.

Even though the seller didn't provide any install manuals with the box it was easy to find the Broil King installation video online. The video is very informative and all up it should take less than 10 mins to install.The burner does what it should and sears verys well. Not a huge surface area to sear but good enough for most one off cuts.All up it seems like quality kit and is a great replacement for that waste of time side burner that this, and so many other BBQ's come with.

I purchased this item twice, both times it came with missing gas line adapter, grease tray adapter and valve limiter. I called, chat, email multiple times with no results. One time I got through the call after waiting for 45 mins of hold music but the person could not resolve the missing parts issue. Subsequent emails and calls went unanswered. I ended up returning the item. Its sad to see OMC get their name tarnished by poor global manufacturing. FYI, while holding with OMC phone supports for hours, their hold message also told me n-th times that they also makes Weber.

I love it,easy to install and replace the gas stove with this searing zone.The results are superb and the charing marks yield lots of wow from guests.
