Very strong beautiful aroma.

I love the aroma in the kitchen when I open them to add to a pot of tea or a hot cranberry punch. I also love the aroma when I put them in dresser drawers drawers or closets. I was disappointed that they are not soft enough to just eat, the way I used to do as a child when my mother got them. Otherwise, great!

I make my own chai and so the quality of cinnamon stick has to be excellent. I was disappointed to find that my normal brand is no longer available, so with some trepidation I decided to try these. Buying spices in bulk is always a gamble. You have no idea how old the product, or whether it is going to be aromatic or stale. But I was so pleasantly surprised when I opened the package. I love them. They are fresh, break up easily in my mortar bowl, and are so deliciously aromatic. These differ from my former brand in that they are cut to about 3 in while the others were maybe 5 in or so. That doesn't make any difference to me because I break them up anyway for my chai. I highly recommend this product and when the time comes, I will be looking to this company for replacing my other spices as well.
