Q: Could this product be potentially used to make a forge to smith steel?

aniel:I used the product to build a Bread/Pizza Oven, which I operate in the range of 375 to 600 degrees. I used firebrick which has the ability to get to +2000 deg., I am told. According to scuttlebutt, this cement is supposed to match the firebrick regarding heat capability. You can google this info. I don't remember if this was actually stated on the cement container.

Q: can this be used with silicone molds?

Yes. I used it to make skeleton heads and bones for the Halloween fire pit. I used plastic heads and bones so that I could cut them out and throw them away. I got them at dollar tree for $1.00 each so it was no big loss. Of course men were scared that the concrete would explode in the heat until I explained to them this concrete was made for fireplace and extreme heat. I still have them snd have used them again.

Q: I need to fix a cement shower base, part of the very top tip cracked off. Is this good? Can it be formed?

This is designed to be used in a kiln or forge. I would not use it to fix your shower.

Q: Will this product bond with and/or adhere to brick or other masonry?

It works well repairing existing fireboxes/hearths.
