Light, Agile, Well Made, and Unique Geometry for stripped nuts.
A friend recommended this tool to me. I purchased it and it arrived properly packaged and in new condition. The old adage "You get what you pay for" certainly applies here. It is really light, agile and well made. It does not feel cheap and fits perfect in my hands. It certainly has a unique geometry, which makes it easy to work with. Sometimes I wish I had a third hand.Purchased this for a stripped nut for a 10mm brake hose. I have a Japanese vehicle so everything is metric. Metric tools are easier to work with in my humble opinion. I would have preferred if it were manufactured in Germany, however I am very satisfied. I wish Wera would manufacture up to 24mm. Now if I could only afford the whole set. I will keep dreaming. As always, thank you amazon for availability of unique geometric tools.

Best! Stop looking for anything else and save your time. None comes even close
The difference between any other brand and WERA is the PRECISION this tool offers. I'm a tool kind of geek and I have a ton of tools. I came recently to a specific need for a specific task and was unable to use my Craftsman 13mm ratcheting wrench because of the terrible play in-between clicks. Mechanics will easily understand what I mean; if you're in a tight spot and need to be able to turn the wrench, you can't afford to waste any space before the ratchet engages. The WERA Jocker has close to ZERO play and this is what quality is all about. Besides that, it's amazing how the open end is engineered and I urge everybody to watch their video. I have no knowledge of any better designed wrench and also of any stronger one. It's worth every penny and then some!

Good but Not Earth Shattering
In certain circumstances the nut-holding feature is not quite a lifesaver, but it is pretty rad. The 12-pt open end is very useful. As a general purpose spanner it's just as good as every other spanner in my toolbox. The ratcheting mechanism on the box end is very fine, and the wrench feels good in my hand. I may add 10-13mm sizes to my box, but I see no need to buy a full set of these. I work on motorcycles every day, and I respect the fact that other peoples' needs may be radically different from mine. I suggest purchasing one of a size you use a lot to test them out before you blow a lot of cash on the 4+ piece sets. I enjoy trying out tools produced in European and Asian countries as an alternative to expensive, overhyped (in the US...) USA made stuff.

It looks like a gimmick, but it NOT!
I picked up one 14mm joaker wrinch just to see if the multi point open end was anything useful or just a good way to strip a bolt head. I'm impressed! I wouldn't use it in extreme torque situations but I don't normally use an open end or a ratcheting box end for that any way. This is by far the best ratcheting box wrinch in my tool box for shot throw tight spots. This poor thing is going to be passed around the shop for a good torture test just to see if it can hold up but so far so good. I can see full sets in my future, my Snap-on guy I is going to have to get a real job 😅

Defective Item? Time will tell.
So far as I can tell, this wrench is defective. The bolt/nut hold feature partially works. The bolt/but should not slide through at any point while using this feature (turning it), but it does with this wrench. Will return and reorder to give wera a second chance. This wrench was ordered as prelude to ordering a complete set. Not sure what to think of this product at this point. Will wait to see how the reordered wrench turns out.

I don't think you can find a better wrench than these
I don't think you can find a better wrench than these. I'm a 30 year small engine mechanic and had a few brands over the years and these babies are the best I've ever own. Yes they are a little pricey but as the old saying goes...."buy the best, cry once". You'll complain about the price once, but you'll brag the rest of your life about how great these wrenches are. Trust me...I'm still bragging. They grip the nut and don't let go like a squirrel that just woke up hungry from a long winter's nap. Quit your giggling and click the purchase button.

High quality tool.
Extremely well made. No surprise there. You get what you pay for. A few drops on the concrete garage floor and not a mark on it. This is a good example of a premium tool.

Massively dissapointed
As a mechanical engineer I was really excited to receive these, but after one day they left my tool bag and went into the bottom of my junk draw.Unfortunately there are only two positives I can say here, 1. They look great 2. The tab to hold the nut in place does work. However if you need to apply any torque to a nut or a bolt, you may aswell use a screw driver.Firstly it almost feels as if the jaw is made of aluminium. Once any force is applied the jaw just slips and you wrap your knuckles.Secondly, because the spanner is straight, no offset head or flexible head, your hand is crushed against whatever youre tightening or loosening. So when the jaw slips you really do mess your hand up.I normally always buy Wera, as their tools are usually great. I really don't know how this product got to market.Maybe these are OK if you do bench work with lots of access and you don't really need anything torqued down.

Great spanner
Yes, they're pricey but you get what you pay for. Another reviewer said they're not robust and slipped under pressure. I just rebuilt the suspension on a 32 year-old Mercedes. These spanners were abused in the process, performed perfectly and still look pristine. Other reviews complain they're not cranked. If you want cranked spanners then buy cranked spanners, don't buy these clearly flat ones then complain or rate them down - it's like ordering a new car in pink and then complaining when it arrives and it's pink. Anyway - great quality and very useful tools

Spanner
I use this spanner to undo nuts and bolts with a 13mm head, you can use it for many other things, like stirring tea, eating a pasta salad & a fidget spinner.

Best spanner on the market.
Was not overly keep on buying this spanner as at the end of the day it is a spanner with a large price tag on it. But I'm so happy I did. I'm an electrician and do alot of metal work. With the nut slot it is super easy to use. So well made I can see me handing it down to my kids. The rachet it super strong iv undone rusted nuts off my motor bike with it. The way its made It sits so well in your house. It has color coded bands to help tell what size you need with ease. I think the best thing about this spanner is it has an arrow on the rachet end to tell you what way its going. Now it sounds simple but I can't stress enough how much it helps. All in all yes this is expensive but they are worth every penny. I only bought two 13mm and 17mm and I use them the most. People at work have asked to borrow them and have ended up buy a set. If you want professional tools they will stand the test of time these will do it flawlessly.

I am an electrician, and this is not a good spanner for me.
If you work on cars or rusty engines, than maybe this sturdy, heavy weight spanner is for you. If you are an electrician, like I am, the weight and thickness are more of an impediment. The metal plate in the jaw is also creating more problems for me than it solves. It's also thicker than the nut, and I can't use it on a nut that sits between two other pieces. So, my advice for you, choose only if you think it fits the purpose, otherwise you will spend a lot of money on some unused piece of metal.
