When my dryer light went out I assumed it just needed a new bulb but then I noticed it kept running when I opened the door. A quick search on YouTube revealed the problem was this switch. I guess it’s a common issue with multiple brands of dryers. So I went to Amazon and was surprised to find this replacement switch at such an affordable price. Shipping was fast and it was easy to install. Great product and so happy to find a replacement part so easily. I highly recommend this product and seller! Research replacing this on YouTube for simply instructions.

My clothes dryer would not stop tumbling when I opened the dryer door, throwing some clothes out onto the floor. My son and I thought that the sensor that controlled this must have worn out. The model number was right in plain sight. They’re on the dryer door opening so I wrote it down and my son Google/Amazon-ed it and it was a very nominal amount of money, super affordable. He removed the bad unit with the good one and the dryer works like new again. Good, high-quality part and came in like, a day YAY!

Part fit well in my Kenmore Dryer. I'm please because it is a very old dryer, but the part is almost universal with American made brands. It was an easy fix which only took about 10-15 min.

This worked perfectly for me the second time around. The first time, the item arrived damaged—the lever of the switch was folded in half. I didn't realize this until I had already taken apart the dryer, so my advice is to inspect it upon arrival. Once I received the replacement, I installed it and got my dryer back up and running. Overall, the installation was easy, but that may vary depending on your model dryer. It involved a total of four screws: two for the dryer top and two for the switch. You just need to unplug the old switch and reverse the process. It's been working without any issues for about a month now, so I feel confident in recommending it!
