Oliso Pro Frisper PRO-1000 Smart Vacuum Sealer for Food Storage (White)

Got this Vacuum sealer a month ago and use it every day. It has a small footprint so it sits on my kitchen counter. The bags are a little expensive but they are good bags and can be washed and reused. I tried wet and dry food and it works great. It doesn't make a loud noise and quieter than the food saver.If the bag are clean you can use it as many times as you can as long as you have a place to punch the holes and I made mine close together around the edges and it doesn't need to be on the spot printed on the bags.I use it with the Foodsaver jar sealer for my mason jars and works perfect. Cookies and dry food stay fresh for a long time for food storage or daily use instead of using bags. Its much less expensive than buying individual vacuum seal containers.I especially love the wine sealer, it works great and I used them for my open wine bottles and my homemade vanilla extract in a empty glass wine bottle and nice to have an indicator to know it is working and not spilling when I shake the bottle lol. My wine finished quick but my vanilla extract is still sealed after a month in the cupboard and it works amazing. I am buying more of the bottle sealers for my vinegar and other bottles.Like the small size and the power and it works. It's also fun to use and portable to move around. I would recommend this product. I love small portable products except my Kitchenaid mixer as you only have limited counter space in the kitchen and what a great way to reduce food spoilage and waste.

The media could not be loaded. very disappointing.at first use, trying to vacuum a small bag containing dry good, the Frisper failed. i tried over and over for 4 times to build up the vacuum and still the bag had air inside. at the last try fumes started coming out of the rear of the Frisper.i did everything as instructed, and checked myself again and again. the bag was sealed shut, the Frisper was operated using the dry mode, and the bag was correctly inserted.the Frisper is well designed, easy to operate and is foolproof. Yet it is completely useless.

My fiancé and I LOVE the Oliso pro Frisper Smart vacuum sealer. I was so tired of throwing food away due to freezer burn. This machine has been life saving! Our food tastes as fresh as it would if I cooked it the same day. The machine itself is so easy to use and stores easily in our one bedroom apartment. We’ve also used this as a space saver for our daughter’s clothes she has outgrown. We’re really thankful for this product. Can’t wait to order more Oliso products!

I bought this one rather than the Foodsaver primarily because it is so much smaller and won't take up so much of my kitchen counterspace. It works great with the regular bags, which I think I will primarily use. However, it does nothing with the pantry bags (I seal, attach the hose, run the machine - but absolutely no air is sucked out). Either my unit is defective, or all of the pantry bags I've tried to use are defective. I'm intending to contact Oliso about this - will post an update if I ever get around to it.10/15/2014 updateI contacted Osilo via email, and the customer service rep suggested that I use a needle to clear any blockage in the flexi tube. I tried that but it still didn't work (if you have the same issue, try blowing air through it - if you can't, the problem is a blocked tube). I contacted them again, and they promised to send a new flexi tube and to expect it in about 10 days. A month later I contacted them again, and they apologized again, and I still have no new tube.The good news is that I found a small skewer (one used to lace up a turkey), and that was long enough and large enough to pierce through the blockage in the tube that I had. It seemed to be the glue that was used to secure the plastic end on the tube. So now I have a working tube, and pantry bags do work.I have discovered, though, that unless you are able to keep the zipper opening completely free of food and debris, that your seal will likely fail. The ability to reuse the bags without washing becomes less and less likely the more they're used. For example, I used a regular bag to store sugar, thinking I could just reseal each time. Well, if you pour the sugar out of the bag, your zipper is going to get sugar in it, and will likely not seal completely after that. Mine seemed to seal, but a few hours later, there was obviously air in the bag again. If I do this in the future, I'll use something to scoop out the sugar.I'm still happy with the unit overall - the big deal for me being the smaller size of the unit.3/18/2016 update - I wish I had bought a Foodsaver instead. Pantry bags just don't hold their seals, and regular bags are too expensive. Foodsaver rolls would be more flexible as to their size, and I'd need less pantry space to store it vs. the assortment of bags.Note on the wine bottle stopper: The one that I got with the unit only kept a seal for less than a day. I threw it away. I did buy some new stoppers, and I have one that's been in my fridge for a couple months that still has a seal. I can't say whether the wine inside is still good (doubtful), but the little button is still indented. However, my luck with components hasn't been great, with the failure of the tube first, and then the stopper. I've had brand new pantry bags that didn't seal, and I was very careful not to get the zipper dirty. Too much trouble.

I bought this Oslo because it had an attachment that I could use on largemouth jars.I like to vacuum seal my freeze dried food in jars. I have been using a food saver for that purpose, but the hose fitting on the food saver broke. Food saver is no longer makes that hose.The Oslo hose works well on the Oslo jar sealer. It also works really good with the food saver jar attachment sealer both the largemouth and smallmouth jar sealer’s work well with Oslo.So all of your food savers customers buy the Oslo👍

Definitely a different concept in vacuum sealers. It is small and compact, a muck smaller footprint than the "conventional" style of sealers that seal one end of the bag. The bags for the frisper are resealable and reusable many times. The vacuum is strong and in the automatic mode it securely seals and removes all the air. There is no air seepage back into the bag.

LOVE the Oliso pro Frisper Smart vacuum sealer , no more throwing away freezer burned food ! Very easy to use and my defrosted food now tastes as fresh as when I bought It! The other thing I love about this is the size, it’s actually on the smaller size, so easy to pull out and use effortlessly, stores well in a small space. Now on to trying the Sous Vide, another review to follow soon!
