First and foremost, these are really basic buckles. And, to me, that's a feature. Don't take basic as not well made, though. Their simple designs should mean fewer points of failure. I bought a handful of buckles in various colors and of each type in slide and flip top. I wanted to see them in person to see which I would prefer. I love the ones that have more of an antiqued finish. Right now I'm using the ones they refer to as antique gold, though it looks a bit more bronze. I was looking to replace a cheap worn out flip top buckle that came with my current belt. But I wanted to try out slide buckles to see if I'd prefer it. Unfortunately, the bar that holds the belt is very long and allows it to easily go crooked in the buckle. Maybe many people won't care, but it bothered me. It still seems to hold, so it's probably fine. However, I really like the flip top buckles better. Super simple design, fewer points of failure. So long as the teeth hold up, I see this being my go to buckle and might purchase more gold/bronze ones for the future.

Came exactly as advertised. Unfortunately, it doesn’t fit JUMKO ratchet belts due to them being extra thick. I’ll keep it though. Never know when I might need it for one of my thinner belts.

Use to replace a buckle on a high dollar belt in which the buckle did not hold. Now no issues great product.

Infinite adjustments, quickly managed. These are great for jeans. (and other "pants and shorts"), these days. For belts I prefer (Crocodile, NOT Alligator), these "buckles" DON'T REQUIRE HOLES punched through the hides themselves. I find, overall, it makes for a much better appearance, and fit!

Product seems well made and has an attractive bright finish. Fits a 1.5 inch web belt exactly.

I needed a buckle—just the buckle—for a 1 1/2”/3.8cm-wide canvas belt that I liked a lot but whose buckle broke after many years. I got exactly that; the buckle is the precise width and the toothed clip accommodates the slightly thicker canvas that jammed in another buckle that I tried. The antique brass finish is very attractive.

Needed a buckle for an old canvas belt. This did the job. For the price it's very clean-looking and very solid architecture. Good stuff
