Hand Cast Cover for Shower Bathing, Waterproof Cast Protector Reusable Wrist Cast Sleeve Bag Keep Bandage Cast Dry for Adult Hand, Kids Arm, Fingers, Wound, Burn

This waterproof cast cover is wonderful! I have never been able to figure out how to keep my hand cast perfectly dry in the shower. This product works like a charm! Only downside is to place it over my cast I need help from someone with two good hands to stretch the opening out in order to get my hand into and also out of the cast cover. But well worth it if you have someone to help.

I bought this for my carpal tunnel surgeries and it has worked out great. It fits over big bandages and as long as you pull it completely over your bandage being sure to leave no part of your bandage out, it keeps it dry. It is a thick enough plastic and a tight opening at the wrist. It makes the showering process easier than it would be with a bag and I can navigate using it with one hand (even better). I stand it up on the sink after use and it drys off completely. Must have for hand or wrist injuries or surgeries.

Worked well to be able to shower (including washing my hair) after I lopped off the tip of my thumb making veggie burgers that ironically became carnivorous once my thumb was added to the mix . . . My hand stayed dry but I could still use it enough to get all shower tasks completed. Holding on to it, but hoping I never have to use it again . . .

This is a great product. After carpal tunnel surgery last week I was told to keep my hand dry for two weeks. The first few days I was putting my hand in a ziplock bag and having my wife wrap my arm with saran wrap and packing tape to keep it dry. That worked, but was a two person job. This cast cover is easy for me to put on myself and does a great job of keeping my hand dry

Worked as needed for the most part. I broke my thumb and didn't need one that went past my elbow and this was the perfect size. I wore it to a splash park and enjoyed getting wet but the cast stayed dry. The only issue is that your hand will start to sweat in a long hot shower but that can't really be avoided.

This product was at first working fairly smoothly in the shower to cover my hands, but the plastic ended up splitting at the seam on one glove. I barely had them for a month, so it was disappointing to see it split so soon since they cost $20 each. The seals around the hand entry are still not tight enough, water easily leaks in if your arms are at the wrong angle. So these make showering fairly unenjoyable, but are good at protecting fragile skin (not only casts) and so they’re worth it for that IMO. They just need to be redesigned and better sealed, and if possible, a version that sleekly fits around hands like a glove with the same plastic material would be nice (to lather hair with soap). But the seem-in-the-middle design has to go. Not durable enough.

I imagine this product does the the trick to keep cast or bandage dry. I don't have anyone to help put on so if you are alone and have to deal bandages this is not a good product. Trying to stuff a bandaged hand thru the opening not a good thing,

This has been a lifesaver! I had hand surgery a week ago and this cover has allowed me to shower independently without worrying about getting my dressing wet. I can put it on and take it off by myself, and it is so much more effective than taping a bag around my arm. Very durable too!
