Best repair I ever made
My $4000 built in combo was barely out of warranty. Repairman last charged $500 for the same problem on my last oven, then it failed again so bought a new one and now it has failed too. Not again geek pal! So now what I learned having fixed one microwave oven is that they are very simple things and necessarily all the same where the heating circuit is concerned. If everything seems to be working but just not heating, watch a you tube video, make a couple measurements and you will quickly learn to verify whether it is the diode, the capacitor, the transformer, or the magnetron. Oh, and this one part worked perfectly making me a hero. Wife said that is why she married me, now mow the lawn.

What I needed for a third of the cost, and no more sparking and buzzing!
This unit installed easily, and it hasn't changed the output values on my microwave - in other words, it is working just as my 1100 watt microwave worked before, on all settings. Because this unit is a replacement part for several different microwave manufacturers, I was worried that it might not work the same. It works great, and repairing it was TONS cheaper than buying another $200 microwave. If you are not sure how to install it, just search YouTube - there are lots of videos that will show you exactly how.

Works on GE Advantium 120 Model SCA1001HSS01
Have a 2004 GE Advantium microwave. It stopped heating and the magnetron was making a weird noise. I took a chance that the magnetron and diode had failed, even though the magnetron and diode checked out on my multimeter. I ordered this magnetron along with a diode. This magnetron seems to be working at least as well as original. Saved myself $1,500 if I had to replace the microwave with a new Advantium. Be careful and discharge the capacitor.

Fits and works in GE microwave-- Lasted a year
Product was packaged well and worked out of the box. I will update the review if it fails in the future. The last one lasted 3.7 years. This one lasted almost a year, and wasn't a perfect fit-- although it did go into the microwave and function.

Exact replacement for my defective part.
My microwave started sparking and arcing. I was told that replacing the failing diode and magnetron unit would fix it. It took about 30 minutes to replace the faulty Magnatron unit following the YouTube video instructions. Saved me hundreds of dollars for a repair person to change it or nearly $450 for a new microwave oven.

Already burnt out!
