TOWOMO Castle in Different Season Series Cigarette Ashtray (Spring Castle)

Got this to keep in the car. Husband smokes and car doesn't have built in lighter or ashtray. Easy for him to hold in his hand or place in the console cup holder. Almost too pretty to use. Empties easily and fits into center console storage area. Should have got it years ago. Sliding lid prevents spills, cigarette indenting holds the cigarette in place. Very functional..

I bought 2 of these, one for my front porch and one for the backyard dining table. They are the perfect size and so pretty. I'm very happy I found these.

I love this thing. Never thought I'd like an ashtry so much. The design is beautiful, the lid keeps the ash and scent down. When accidentally knocked over, the lid closes, keeping all the meas inside. Great purchase.

Got it for the husband. He likes to use mine in the car. He put his up on a display. a said too nice to put ashes in. Guess he will continue using his old ashtray. His was supposed to be used when he is sitting outside, to keep the ashes from blowing around.

Wow, this is the most beautiful ashtray I've ever had. I love that it can be closed to cover the cigarette butts so the area looks cleaner when the ashtray is not in use It is nice and deep so ashes never blow out of it even when it's open. I've also found that when a lit cigarette is resting in it, the partially covered top can be turned so the smoke is directed away from non-smokers. Just love this ashtray.2/19/2018 Edit to Add: After using this ashtray for about a month, I am dropping my 5-star rating to 3 stars.I have found that when my cigarette burns halfway down or lower, it falls into the bottom of the ashtray so that I have to reach into the ashtray and dig it back out. This is no fun because the ashtray opening is small and doing this is really messy. I get ashes from previous cigarettes all over my hand, yuck, and ashes also scatter around the ashtray.Often when I light a new cigarette and lay it in the ashtray in one of the notches, the end that is lit falls and rests on the bottom of the ashtray. This quickly catches the filters of the extinguished cigarette butts on fire.It can easily happen with even 1 cigarette butt left in the bottom of the ashtray because of the size and shape of the bottom of the astray (2" circle).I learned quickly that it had to be emptied after each cigarette to make sure this doesn't happen.I tried putting one of those cone-shaped snuffers in the bottom of the ashtray, hoping to prop my cigarette up higher by resting the end on top of the snuffer. The only problem with this is that it doesn't solve the problem of the cigarette falling into the ashtray when gets shorter. Then the cone is something in the way of an already tight space when you are trying to get your cigarette out.I chose this ashtray hoping for a tidier, more attractive way of disposing of cigarette ashes and butts. It is absolutely beautiful, but it isn't meeting my needs in the way I hoped it would.I am going to try this one: K COOL Windproof Ashtray with Lids Tabletop Cigarette Ashtray for Outdoor Indoor Desktop Metal Smoking Ash Tray for Home Office Decoration, Hand Stamped Pattern Nice Gift for Men Women(Jade Green) . It has the flip top that becomes a shallow ashtray on top of the globe. It looks like you could put out your cigarette and when it is fully extinguished flip the butt and ashes into the deeper globe and have everything tidy and hidden inside the closed globe.Omgoodness, I hope that makes sense and is helpful to someone who might be trying to decide. There are many good reviews. I'm sure each smoker is different and for many, it works out perfectly. I don't think this is a purchase you would regret if it didn't work out as an ashtray. If it doesn't work for you as an ashtray, it is still a gorgeous piece and great for storage of small items.

This Red Rose Pattern looked even better in person. The pictures don't do it justice. It's solid too. Would buy again.
