These suspenders have done a great job hold our dogs diaper in place. Velcro tabs are strong and have not fallen off once. We use Arm & Hammer brand diapers and their Velcro tape is very reliable.

It's a bit pricey but works as advertised. My baby boy is a 4 month old long-haired apple head chihuahua and was wiggling right out of his male wraps until this arrived. I'm satisfied.

My japanese chin was a rescue from a puppy mill. She lived her entire life in a cage and was never taken out to "do her business". She laid in it while eating, sleeping, giving birth and nursing puppies. She was 11 years old when she was rescued. 11 years of no love and never knowing what grass was, just a wire cage floor. I have tried to no end to potty train her but how do you crate train a dog that has no concept of not living and lying in her filth. So I crate her while I'm away from the house and diaper her when I get home and she is free to roam the house. I would diaper her and never crate her, but too much diaper wearing will cause a urinary tract infection and skin irritation. Got to keep them cleaned up just like a baby wearing a diaper. She does not enjoy being diapered. Who would? But it is better than where she was and she knows it. But the diaper would bunch up and as she walked it would work it's way off. She was pitiful walking around with diaper trapping her back legs. I never knew they had suspenders but it is a good thing I found them. I won't lie, she doesn't like wearing the diaper with suspenders either, but I can tell she is moving easier and her diaper isn't slipping down and trapping her legs or coming off as she walks or sleeps or wiggles around. It was easy to lengthen out for her size and easy to attach to the diaper. It does take a little practice because velcro wants to attach to other things while you get it around them and try to get suspenders and diaper put on. But not so much trouble that it is worth a real complaint. Just have to lengthen and try it on until you see it stays up but isn't too tight on them that the suspenders pull against their throats too tightly while moving and sleeping. It helps me as her mommy keep stress down about soiled floors and I don't have to feel like I make her live 24/7 in a crate like she was before I got her. She has been a test of my patience with her issues, but a blessing to my heart when she looks at me with her sweet eyes and I know I can deal with whatever as long as one less dog isn't suffering a loveless horror of a life. Please investigate where you find your next dog and don't support these puppy mills. Pure breed dogs can be found in shelters and breed rescue groups all the time if breed is important to you.

Our puggle’s diaper used to constantly fall off, this product keeps it on, comfortable for the pup, and is worth every penny! Only thing I would be concerned with is the longevity of the velcro, but only time will tell

I’m on the fence. First few times I used this it worked perfectly. Then within a week I noticed the Velcro starting to lose its stickiness. I’d find the strap randomly on the floor somewhere in the house. So I learned quickly that it is important to make sure you clean the Velcro every day so not to get a build up of lint and such. After cleaning out the lint, the Velcro is much stronger, but this morning I found a naked foster pup laying next to his diaper with the strap still attached to it! I’m not sure how he was able to manage this. But he squirmed his way out of it. On the plus side the Velcro held onto the diaper despite him doing a squirmy wiggle dance on his back; that usually slides him right out of his diaper. Thankfully throughout the day he’s pretty good at keeping the straps and diaper in place. The straps definitely help to keep the diaper from sliding off. As long as there is not any lint build up. My 12 yr old male foster dog also seems to be fairly comfortable wearing this. It’s not choking him or constricting any movement. He’s a stocky,15 lb Maltese Doxie (Moxie). He’s quite long and the straps fit well. I was worried the strap might not be long enough, but it was. I like that it is adjustable as well. He needs to lose a couple pounds so it’s nice to know the strap will adjust with him. The strap is well made. I purchased the brighter colors because they are easier to find and spot around the house. I only gave three stars because I’m not sure how these will hold up over time, and the fact that it is possible for dogs to slip out of the strap in the middle of the night with some effort.

I really thought this would not hold the diaper on I was really wrong it does a stellar job on holding the diaper on and the suspenders and diaper doesn’t come off unless I take it off myself.

Harness wraps around my dog’s neck-unsafe so it was returned.
