Very good device.
Great quality. Has the functions I wanted (reminders, Bluetooth connectivity to iPhone health app. Easier for me to use than an arm cuff device as I don’t have to take off my upper garments in this cold weather. Blood pressure readings settle down quickly enough to reliable results. Bought on Black Friday so good value. Very quiet inflation.

Easy to use essential piece of kit
So easy to use - set up was straight forward with good connectivity with app on phone. Very comfortable to wear, as well as silent in use. Clear read out on the device, and also in the app. App has other features to help support a healthy lifestyle. All in all, I'm very pleased with this - far superior to the more expensive upper arm device from a different brand.

Easy to use
The Omron RS7 is an easy to use wrist blood pressure monitor that synchronizes its readings to your mobile phone (and from there to an Omron Connect account). This makes it easy to save reading and see trends of how your blood pressure changes over time. To use, you fit it about 2cm below the left wrist and hold your arm level with your heart. There is a small blue heart on the screen which lights up when the meter is at the right level, meaning you don't get an inaccurate reading due to arm positioning. The readings are also stored in the device, ready for those who do not want the phone sync capabilities. Added benefits of this are it can detect some minor heart issues like an irregular heart beat and the ability to monitor 2 different people at once (there is a little switch on the bottom to swap between user 1 and user 2.

High quality, very easy to use app and good value
I bought this because my old Omron RS6 was left in the office at the start of lockdown. The RS7 seems to be an evolution of the RS6 with BT pairing and an app to store readings and show trends to make it easier to track and analyse results. Overall impressions are very similar to the older RS6. Good: Silent and vibration free, it really is spooky to think that the wrist band is being inflated when there is no noise or vibration Very simple to use The app is intuitive, pairing is very simple and it does help to track results Clear display Nicely made Bad: Not a lot, there are cheaper alternatives Still some debate on the accuracy of wrist band types Probably the main concern for many is whether a wrist band type is accurate enough. I see some negative reviews here but I find both this and my older RS6 give results closely aligned with arm band types and results taken by my GP or in hospital. I'm not saying it is absolutely accurate, but it is closely aligned with medical grade devices used by doctors and hospitals and I am confident that the results give a good indication. The flip side of course is that a wrist band type is much more compact, portable and unobtrusive. Omron supply a hard shell carry case and it is easy to slip it into a pocket or lap top bag or such like. The big difference between this and my RS6 is BT pairing with a phone app. Previously I wasn't a fan of connected BP monitors as it seemed a bit of a pfaff and more trouble than it was worth, but I have to say pairing was extremely quick and simple and the phone app does work well so it is a function I would now recommend. As with most Omron products, you can get cheaper alternatives, but Omron generally have a sense of quality and dependability which is worth paying for in my experience, and when I think of what else I spend money on and the importance of BP monitoring this isn't especially expensive. Highly recommended, 5*.

Limited accuracy but easy to use
I bought this to replace a Boots' wrist blood pressure monitor thinking it might be more accurate. Unfortunately it is as (un)reliable as the Boots' model. I have checked it against my Omron arm BP monitor and it shows inconsistent results. I have checked my Omron arm Cuff against a mercury sphygmomanometer (BP machine) which is generally regarded as the gold standard of clinical BP measurement and they correlate accurately. Nearly all wrist BP machines are less reliable than an upper arm cuff monitor so it is not surprising that this model is so unreliable. It can however give an idea of trends. For instance, I use mine to assess the effect of exercise on the BP and it can show the direction of change and the degree of change. So I find it helpful in that respect. There is a light that tells you when the cuff is at the right level for taking the BP. Unfortunately this only works when standing or sitting upright. Any degree of slouch or reclining (for instance those who check the BP whilst in bed when unwell) will result in the indicator showing that the cuff is too high and only comes on when the cuff is at the level of the stomach. I know it is said that the way to a man's heart is through his stomach but this is carrying that too far! I get round this by placing my arm so that the cuff is directly over the heart. Another problem is the App. It generally works well but will combine readings and give an average. This is fine in general if readings are taken relatively close to one another for general use. However, if the purpose is to see the effect of, say, different degrees of exercise on the BP then it would be useful to have the graphs show the individual measurements. I can only get around this by going to the list section and transferring individual readings manually to another programme. No instruction manual came for the App and therefore it is a bit of hit and miss to find a way around the App. The problems with readings I have mentioned above are likely to be a problem with any wrist BP measurement. The good thing about this model is the ability to transfer the readings to my iPad for detailed assessment. It is much slower than my other BP machines but is very quiet

Good quality. Results appear to be accurate.

It is advertised like its only difference is the bluetooth data transfer compared to cheaper omron versions. But that would be unfair. Its waaaay lighter in weight and almost silent. The difference is like using an old style modem from 90s and super silent modern day modems. I know it is a kind of an absurd comparison. But that's to visualize the noise level difference and weight.
