Did not work
This does not convert AV to VGA. Maybe it converts in the other direction but it did not convert AV to VGA which I should had known better. Its my own fault for falling for this. Please be careful buying stuff like this. Most real products need a converter box.

Works Well - but with Minor Glitch
I installed this adapter a few hours ago. It was plug-and-play with a 60-second install... and immediately began working. My PC's VGA output (and PC audio) were sent to the HDMI-port of a cheap 1366x786 TV --- serving as the primary monitor of my Windows 7 system. The transmitted image has great color and resolution --- AND Windows treats it as 1920x1080. Yes - this TV is actually working in a higher-definition than its specified limitation --- a nice surprise. I've noticed a minor problem --- the broadcast image is SLIGHTLY bigger than the TV screen. A few pixels surrounding the image are thus off-screen. Neither my NVIDIA tools or my Windows 7 system offer a solution... not without changing to a lower resolution. Despite that, the screen is workable, icons on my desktop are functional, and I am happy with this product.

ZERO Stars - Doesn't work at all
I don't why I didn't because I almost always read the reviews for any new item I buy online... If I had I would have avoided this one. I tried with different RCA inputs (DVD player, Pacman game, etc) and 3 monitors. All 3 monitors did not receive ANY signal.
