MISOTT Scart to HDMI Converter - HDMI Adaptor for TV, Power Plug Included

Very pleased with this item - my new TV (not surprisingly) doesn't have a SCART socket and I still have a VHS player that I might want to use and so his seemed an ideal solution. And so it turned out - I simply plugged the existing lead from the VHS player into the adaptor and an HDMI lead from the adapter to the TV and a great picture (well it is VHS so an OK picture) and I was sorted.

I bought this for my Commodore A1200 computer and while it does not work with this hardware, it does work normally so I've only given this 4/5. Nice and small piece of kit so not going to be that intrusive.

Extremely satisfied with the product works extremely well and simple to install, was told at the shop when purchasing a new TV, explaining that I had an old school sound system which works well and sounds great, but with no HDMI connections just a Scart connection, was told that I should upgrade my system to accommodate the new TV connections, but went on line asked about the problem and found the Misott Scart to HDMI, Saved a few hundred pounds and everything is working great, Picture,Sound, brilliant

It works flawlessly really happy

Worked fine for the first 24hrs, then the signal became intermittent. So it will be boxed up and sent back for a refund. The scart socket wasn't a particularly good fit, it tended to sag under it's own weight. The power cable it extremely short, so we had to totally reorganise our set up so it would reach the power socket.

My new TV didn't come with Scart connection capability, so I couldn't use my old DVD player. The alternatives were to buy a new DVD player or buy a converter. Since there is nothing wrong with my existing equipment, I resent having to buy replacements because the TV manufacturer made the decision to exclude Scart connectivity. This converter plugged in simply and easily and does the job well enough. The picture quality is obviously not the same as if I was using HDMI to HDMI, but it is acceptable - and it's a much cheaper alternative to replacing equipment. I'm happy with it.

Usefully helped to extend the longevity of a video/DVD player!

I connected this Scart to HDMI converter to the pass through socket on the sound bar which is then connected to the TV's HDMI 2 Arc socket and played a video on my ancient Panasonic DVD/Tape Player. Works beautifully, absolutely no complaint over the picture and sound quality. The connection route was the reason I bought the version of this device with the power adapter - the sound bar doesn't have a USB socket and everything was too far from the one on the TV. If you need one of these devices then I can recommend this one.
