Great for kids who want to code!

This is a nice little kit. The kids were already familiar with Makecode from Lego robotics, and were literally programming the device in minutes of opening the box. If your kids have done the Lego robotics thing, this is probably a good next step in the world of programmable devices.

I've had it for a few weeks now - the parts i tried work well Cons: some of the instructions in the booklet aren't clear and the snapshot of the makecode is not readable for me in the first experiment in the booklet, After trying to find it in their website - i just gave up and started using youtube tutorials mostly by BBC and by Shawn Hymel. Pros: The package is compact everything was wraped in ESD /plastic bags. Cons: Booklet is kind of small and not very clear but if you search enough in the web & the youtube channels i wrote above you should be fine. I couldn't find thid specific kit # in their wrb site.

I was not sure if this came with a Micro:bit board as well because the price is so good, but to my surprise it did. This kit is nicely bundled with all the pieces in separate bags to make organization in the provided container very easy. This kit also come with a great colored booklet with projects that will get any beginner excited. I purchased this set because my daughter had really like the emulator that Microsoft published and this has allowed her to take those experiments to a physical device, and now with all the circuits and sensors that come with this she is even more excited about all the fun projects she can do.

We wanted to find a microcontroller system that my son could use. We tried a lot of micro controllers, and this was a good fit for him as getting to upload the program was a little bit of work as he did all the setup by himself.

It's my first time working with Microbit. After looking at some offers I chose this kit. It's good and have almost everything you need to learn building new projects. It contains LEDs, resistors, swithes, wires, motors and some sensors. The extention board makes it easy to connect many items. The quality is good and worth its price. Packed well in nice box, also each item packed well separately. A manual with some project is there for you to make your first steps. The shipping is very fast more than I expected.

Really nice little starter kit for micro:bit, gives lots of options for projects. The pieces are compact and good quality and the whole thing fits into the plastic case it came in for storage. Very happy with this purchase.

Good product, very fast delivery. Lots of fun doing the projects. Some are hard to understand but figuring it out and making it work is part of the fun.

Very good amount of building blocks. I wish the manual was a bit bigger, so we could see the code blocks better... but then it wouldn't fit in the box. As a beginner, I couldn't be sure from the manual how to connect the micro:bit to the breakout board, and was afraid of trying and breaking something. I tried googling a video for it, but couldn't find any. However, we eventually figured it out.
