I wanted to remove the drive wheel on my snow blower to add anti seize grease. The wheel was rested on. This gear puller along with a little heat did the trick of removing the wheel. I then cleaned up both axels adding anti seize and inter tubes to both wheels.

Works great. Use them a lot a work and haven't had an issue yet.

These pullers are great for holding on to the poly without having the jaws flopping all over the place. Unfortunately for me I have found them to be very under sized for most applications, these usually do not grip well enough to remove larger pulleys, they are also very short. I will not get rid of my other polars however these will find some uses for smaller jobs. I like the way they come stored in the case to keep everything organized.

I needed a gear puller for the compressor gear on a cat engine. I didn't want super expensive because I would use this tool only a handful of times. I really like the brand and most of my tools are GW. The price was perfect. I have been waiting all day for it to arrive and when it did I unboxed, assembled, and had the gear off in five seconds.

Quality made tool

As a “shade tree” mechanic I buy mostly Gearwrench stuff nowadays. I ordered this puller set to remove the brake pulley from a 1969 Sears suburban transaxle for a rebuild. Pulley has probably never been removed. There wasn’t enough clearance to get standard 3 jaw pullers that I bought years ago off the import boat. The lower profile jaws easily cleared the case. The indexing feature made setting them up a 1 handed affair. The most difficult part was figuring out how to install the jaws in the yoke. A couple hits with my GW 17mm impact on my high torque Ridgid 1/2” cordless, and the pulley popped off. Saved me lots of time and headaches.

Hard case and the metal used is great. 15 out of 10 for the price I paid.

Wait for it to go on sale. Other than that great kit with quality tooling

Great kit. The indexing joints are great, and beat trying to hold jaws in place while tightening down the center screw. Broke a jaw on the 5 ton puller, emailed gearwrench and had a new one within a week.
