Beautiful self-watering globes
These are a life-saver for someone like myself with many plants. I LOVE self-watering apparatuses 🙌🏽 Most importantly, these were instrumental in helping me combat a gnat issue this past summer. One of my outdoor plants became infested with gnats. To prevent the spread, I had to cover the topsoil (of that plant and all of the nearby ones) in rocks. Due to the rocks, it was difficult to know when the plants needed water. Even worse, my poor moisture stick was struggling to get through the rocks and I was scared I was going to break it one day. Cue the watering globes to the rescue!!! *imagine superhero music right here*. I didn’t have to worry about checking the soil at all thanks to these. I just watch the water level in the globe and refill when it’s been empty for an appropriate period of time (depending on the plant). It was also easy to squirt fertilizer into the globe periodically to feed my plants. The only hang up is that sometimes dirt can get in the tip. It didn’t seem to stop the water from flowing, but it does make refilling the globe difficult. There’s an easy fix though. I just push the dirt in (with a pen, toothpick, my finger, whatever I have handy!). Then I add a small amount of water, swish it around, and flip the globe upside down to drain. I give a couple firm shakes while it’s draining and the dirt comes right out. Problem solved.

Save my plants!
These beautiful add-ons save my plants! We travel a lot and sometimes it may take a few weeks or months. I am always worried about my indoor plants. Sometimes I need to ask friends to help me water them when I am not home... But, these watering globes save me. Every time I need to leave for a while, I only need to refill them full. They will automatically water the plants when they need water. Even during the days that I stayed at home, I never watered the plants by hand in case I gave them too much water. Especially, they look very beautiful inside the pots with natural sunlight. Of course, they are made of glass. So they cannot be very sturdy when the pots are located higher... I have already broken two globes... lol

Beautiful and functional
I recommend you make the hole in the dirt for them first, otherwise you'll plug up the end with dirt and the water won't come out as readily. They work very well and are truly beautiful.

Love these globes!
These watering globes are absolutely beautiful! The photos don't do them justice. I am using them for my outside potted plants, especially the pansies that need moist soil. I love the fact that you can fill these up, put them in the pot and it keeps the soil at a consistent level without leakage from the bottom of the pot. I find I need to fill them every day only because my pots are medium size and I live in a warm climate so the soil dries out faster than other places. I have read that people are having a hard time with the soil getting stuck in the tube and the water doesn't come through. Just make a hole in the soil going about 3/4 of the way down into the pot and then put the globe in. Tap the top of the globe a little bit to see if any air bubbles are coming up which tells you it's in the right position and it's working. I highly recommended these.

50/50 chance of these working
I love the idea of these and 2 of them work fine. The others two are two wide at the bottom and the water just flows out. There a little tricky to fill but worth it if they are made right.

Perfect!
This is exactly what we needed! We needed these for our potted outdoor hibiscus trees while we were away for vacation and they were amazing! They’re beautiful and add a very pretty colorful accent. I stuffed a little paper towel at the bottom as others had recommended so it wouldn’t get clogged with dirt and it’s worked wonderfully! So happy with these!!
