Pressing cloth- works just fine
Used to press delicate fabrics or whatever........it's fine. You can sort of see thru it a bit as well, so you can see where you are ironing.

More like what my mother used to have - great product!
I wear business attire for work. I've always strived to be careful with the iron. I rarely use starch but use a water sprayer/mister along with steam (medium) setting. After creating a small shiny spot on a couple of work trousers, I started using a different type of pressing 'cloth' which was actually made of a plastic mesh. Results were overall good, yet never really liked this pressing cloth. That thought occurred to me while shopping on Amazon one day and purchased this one - - actually CLOTH and does a much better job. I believe it keeps the clothing safer from even light scorching which can ruin a garment, and quality business clothes aren't cheap. My mother used to have something similar for as long as I could remember growing up, almost looked like a cloth diaper but don't believe it was. My only complaint is I wish it was bigger, but I highly recommend and would buy again.

Phenomenal product that a great price
I'm super happy with this pressing cloth. It's a nice size to work with and feels to be of good quality. So far I ironed two suits and trousers and everything came out smooth and crisp without adding shine. I would recommend this to anyone

Just buy a yard of cotton...
15Apr2018 I’m new to sewing. When I get into a hobby, I usually dive right in and buy the essentials. This pressing cloth is certainly what I ordered and works perfectly. It’s an 11”x26”, white, 100% cotton cloth that protects my iron and my fabric. The edges are all pinked too, so it shouldn’t unravel. That being said, I feel silly for buying this. I recommend that you get yourself a yard of regular cotton muslin for probably half the price. You’ll get more bang for your buck. I’m not knocking the product since it wasn’t pretending to be anything it’s not, but it’s a rip off when you consider that it’s just a piece of cotton... That’s my fault for not thinking.

Protects your iron
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Perfect for ironing on Cricut creations and anything in sewing that might have a sticky substance escaping! I works great!

Fine but really small
It's a pressing cloth - there's not much to complain about. BUT... it's small and, as a result, tough to work with. In hindsight, I would've bought a bigger one.

A must have. What's the issue?
For years used handkerchiefs but I like these better. These are 100% cotton like my handkerchief but not soft cotton. These are stiffer which allows for easier movement across garments. Ok, why are people washing it? Of course it may unravel in washing machine as the ends are seemless and finished off with pinking sheer cuts on all sides. A seamed sewn end will catch the iron's edge on occasion so seamless is awesome. If something gets on it, just spot clean it. I've never washed these even after years of use and I'm a neat freak. The iron heat takes care of germs and I never iron dirty clothes.
