Really Enhances My Vizio Soundbar
I have a Vizio SB36514-F6 sound bar that features rear satellite speakers with both front and upper facing speakers to accommodate Dolby Atmos, which compliment the same on the main bar. While the Vizio satellites are quite good for their size, I've been wondering for some time if the overall sound could be improved by swapping them out for these Monoprice units.I researched far and wide to see if they would be compatible (Ohm and otherwise) with the soundbar. However, Vizio does not publish such specs on their units and no other reviewers have mentioned actually using a soundbar with these Monoprice speakers. After much thought and consternation, I decided to give them a try.As with all Vizio soundbars, the satellites plug into the subwoofer via RCA pin plugs. (The sub is connected to the main bar wirelessly.) I utilized adapters (from Amazon) to go from the Vizio RCA plugs to bare wire for the installation of the Monoprice units. That was a snap, so on to testing.Well, so far everything is positive. The Monoprice units produce a deeper, wider and richer sound stage than do the stock units. The stock units are amazing for their size, but the Monoprice speakers just sound even better and fuller. They are somewhat larger than the Vizio units and quite substantial in appearance, definitely a 5/5.As mentioned, I was concerned about compatibility. I have no way to test the Ohm ratings on the Vizio, but I was very pleased to see that the Monoprice units responded well to the volume level I had previously set for the stock units. While perhaps not definitive, I have read that higher Ohms means more resistance and therefore the need for more power to get the same volume than from lower Ohm speakers. By that premise, the Vizio sub seems to be pretty compatible with my new speakers, requiring no more drain on the amplifiers in the sub to perform at the proper volume level. In fact, I was able to even turn down the volume by one notch after some further listening. Yes!Time will tell how this setup will last overtime, but for now I am very happy with my decision to give the Monoprice Premium Immersive Speakers a chance. Hope this is helpful to other soundbar users who might be considering a similar move.

Good things come in small package.
Impressive low sound from a 3" speaker. It sounded more like a 5" speaker. I took a chance since this price is low and this brand has been reliable.

Good for the money
// UPDATE //Moved the front left channel to clean the shelf it was on and it lost audio. Opened it again (torx, T15) and found out that the positive post's contact to the board is hella dirty from manufacturing. Cleaned it out, lightly bent it so it has contact to the board and it started working again. QC fail.// ORIGINAL //Speakers arrived in tact, no damage whatsoever visually, in a quite surprisingly really tall box.Hooked it up to a 5.1 setup. I don't have an Atmos system yet due to how my rig is set up in the room + cost. So far, so good.Sound is a little boomy (more bassy) than what I prefer. Sound was a little muddy at first, but that's likely due to the source (Thursday Night Football). I switched to a different video and it sounds warmer, and the details are brighter. Hopefully this is the case once the speakers have been through hours of use and settles in.I need to add that one of the speakers had issues working at first. No sound would come out of the front, only the top. I unscrewed the lower terminal at the back, pulled it out a little bit, put it back together right away and it miraculously started working. Not exactly sure what happened as I didn't really touch anything else, but I'm glad I have two properly working speakers now. Hopefully other buyers won't have the same issue I had.

Underwhelming.
Sounds ok but terrible for my application.

Speaker suits my needs
These dual firing speakers work well in my living room. I am able to enjoy ATMOS when I am watching a movie that supports that media but can control which speakers are best for when I have others in the room and don't want to have a Dolby surround speaker in their ear. A great product for me.

cheap china speakers
no banana plugs. bi-wired, so you need to run wire between top & bottom speakers. no keyhole in rear to hang on a screw. there is a threaded hole in the back where you can insert a screw, but that's a bit useless. grill plugs popped out first time i pulled the top grill off, see photo. top driver in one speaker started making popping in less than 3 months

First Monoprice speakers - Happy with them
So far I really like these speakers. I'm replacing some of my 5.1 setup from AGES ago that are super generic 5.1 RCA speakers from a cheap system from the mid-2000s. These are being used in my home office - mostly playing conference calls and music while I work. They sound pretty good for what I paid for them and I'm super happy with them so far.I'm no audiophile so I'm sure there are plenty of people that would call these garbage. I'm not one of those, they sound perfectly good to me.

Decent sound for the price
Picked these up as a quick and cheep upgrade from a 3 channel system along with a Dolby Atmos receiver, wanted to spend more on that. I'm honestly impressed yes there's better, and I probably could have gotten better on the 2nd hand market for the same price or a little more, but I'm happy it fills my need now waiting for my sub to come in.
