Great Knife
Sharp as a pin. Cuts through crusty loaves effortlessly

Best knife I've used
Having been a chef for almost 30years I've tried many knives of different brands and without doubt this is the most versatile long lasting knife I've owned. Easy to keep sharp and to keep the serrated edge I just sharped the the back edge with a few swipes over a diamond steel to bring it back to a good edge. I've seen a few reviews of it not staying sharp. To these reviews I say, you aren't looking after your knives. Lightweight and ergonomic handle means I can use this knife for hours without fatigue compared to some brands that either leaves you with blisters or just tired arms due to their weight. £ for £ this is the best knife you can buy. It does most day to day knife work in the kitchen. I won't go into a kitchen without one. Just remember to look after it properly and it will last year's (unless you loose it, like I have 🤦🏻♂️)

The best knife, stop thinking just buy it!!
This knife has been a favourite of mine for the last 18 years, not so much this style of handle but this blade is endlessly versatile. I normally go for the rosewood or rounder plastic handle. This was brought to be a knife only for cutting sponge cake so handle wasn't important as no fast chopping. I use these knives from veg prep to filiting fish. Also a great knife for bread and meat carving. The sedation on them last so long and you definitely get value from them I've had about 10 of these but they are my go to knife I'll use them forever. Extremely minimal knife care or sharpening required.

Good product
This is the only knife I use in the kitchen. Yes it's a pastry knife/bread knife. But I use it for cutting veg. Used these for about 20 years. The issue I have with them is that when you sharpen them on numerous occasions. Cause obviously they will need sharpened. The blade eventually wears down to a point where it can't be sharpened any further. Thus rendering them useless. I've been aware of this since having my first one. But as it's basically the only chef knife I feel comfortable with. When the sharpening issue occurs I just buy a new one. Not the best situation. But it works for me. So can't give 5 stars because of this. But otherwise a great knife

Best buy pastry knife
If you treat this knife only for bread and pastry work, it will last for a long time. The knife cut bread really smooth and easy using a sawing motion. Most professional pastry chefs have this. The long stiff knife is not too thick, so it also works well as a palette knife.

Great knives
I bought the Victorinox 11 cm Swiss Classic Serrated Edge knives a while back and they are great for the price. Thought I’d upgrade to the larger one as I’ve tried and tested them. They may have a plastic handle but they’ve proved themselves to be good knives.

Was looking for a good bread knife to cut the sourdough breads with hard crusts. This does the job perfectly. Good quality would highly recommend this.

Wir haben dieses Messer schon seit vielen Jahren und hatten es als Geschenk für die Familie nochmals bestellt. Es ist zu scharf und wird deshalb dort leider nicht so genutzt wie bei uns. Wir machen alles mit dem Messer, das eigentlich als Kuchen-/Tortenmesser konzipiert ist: Brot schneiden, Salat kleinschneiden (z.B. Endivien), Nüsse hacken und vieles mehr. Es ist auch nach vielen Jahren noch superscharf und aus unserer Küche nicht mehr wegzudenken.
