Very good intro to VR, as others have said. I find the image very clear as long as the material I'm viewing is clear (see below for some ideas), and can use without my fairly strong (-6) glasses because the lenses are quite close. Since my iPhone SE needs to sit above the little shelf, I made a custom frame for it with two layers of cardboard (the box material, not the Google headset!) and generated QR code myself (using G Cardboard page) rather than using the one on the box. Only gripe is that the headphone cable is on the wrong side for my phone (usually have to turn it so top is at the left)so I can't use the volume buttons. But it's not essential for me, volume seems to sound well from the phone itself. Things to try for VR first timers: - try the "Frightfest", kids animations and other short videos on "Within" app. If you can see the arms of the person you're supposed to be, try echoing what they are doing (e.g. arms on the table in "Portal") - get the Google Cardboard camera and take 360/VR photos when you go somewhere interesting, e.g. top of a mountain, crowded exhibit, and look at them via the headset. Even your own living room is quite a fun thing to do! - for something a little more serious, Guardian VR app has good documentaries - look on YouTube for VR enabled videos. Some rubbish, some quite good (don't bother with "VR Tube" unless you're into girls prancing around in their underwear) - and (obviously!) play a rollercoaster app like VR Roller Coaster. Look up and around as you watch for a real head spinner.

I was worried about buying this because of the bad reviews but I can tell you that I love it so much I got one for my daughter well and she loves it to. some people say they can’t get it in focus but we had no problem doing this, it was blurry at first but we moved the phone to position it better and the dials and it was absolutely fine. I haven’t been able to get my daughter to take it off, it is a bit big for her but she’s ok wearing it when she’s lying down. It is a bit fiddly setting it up as you have to get the phone in the right position and when u shut the case up my phone stopped unless I did it gently but that could be the phone fault, haven’t figured out how to sit the touch screen but yet but once u get started watching it, it’s brilliant, like u are actually in the movie.

The headset itself is a comfortable fit over your face and with the headset - over your ears. The sound quality is good and there is gaps on the side to allow your iPhone jack adapter to rest rather than cramming it inside the headset. The settings on the headset such as volume and eye adjustment are easy to use. You also get a lens cloth to clean the lenses. However, you are restricted to Cardboard apps since you can't really do much other than sit and watch stuff. The VR quality can be blurry sometimes and without a VR app, you will just get two of the same images. Additionally, the eye space and zoom options never seem to look correct and always appear in standard definition on screen, it is best described as distorted. You can make out the images but they are never satisfying. If you wanted a good quality VR experience, you are best investing in an Oculus or Samsung headset. Overall, if you want to see what VR is about, it's worth buying but now it collects dust in my cupboard.

This is a great piece of equipment for the price. I was considering buying the Oculus but decided not to when I found out who owns it. I am glad I bought this instead. The glasses are great and has a premium feel as mentioned by other reviewers. It fits my iphone8+ easily. You can adjust the finder to suit your view. I tried the Nat Geo 360 VR on Youtube and it was fantastic. The headset that I initially got came with headphones but my iPhone does not have a headphone port. If your phone has the headphone port, then do get this model. If not, get the model without the headphones and, like me, you can connect a BT headphone. Overall, a fantastic experience both with the product and the customer support afterwards.

It is what it is a cheap alternative to some of the more expensive vr headsets on the market if your happy to use the free vr apps for a taster to see what it's like before spending hundreds of pounds or just want one for abit of casual use then definitely worth the money it does the job and the headphones have good sound quality highly recommend

HAMSWAN VR Headsets As is often the way, I searched all over Amazon before deciding on a VR Headset to give the media a try. I spent a long time reading reviews and weighing one against the other until I finally decided on the HAMSWAN VR Headset. It arrived next day and I could hardly wait to try out some of this new-fangled Virtual Reality. I read the instructions carefully, scanned the QRcode to install the app and away we go… Sadly not, first of all, I could not bring the image into focus with or without glasses on, which made it quite uncomfortable to use. The headset has a Mult-Function button but pressing it did nothing, so there was no way to control phone except for the volume. Even with the out of focus images I could see the field of view was quite narrow, probably around 70 to 80 degrees, it felt quite claustrophobic. I checked the listing which said the field of view was 120 degrees then I noticed that the box said 100 degrees. So which is it? Suffice to say I was not happy with my purchase which, as I type, is sitting waiting to be returned.

The Headphones make the Headset a0 Worth while buy. And the Picture Quality is quite good considering i wear glasses.

Regalo de cumpleaños para mi marido que ha gustado a toda la familia. Quería algún gadget que no tuviera, algo nuevo y como pasa mucho tiempo en Youtube, me decidí por estas gafas que estaban bien de precio y tenía buenas opiniones y ha sido un acierto. No entiendo de características técnicas pero viene en la descripción y es tal cual. Es muy fácil de usar. Eliges vídeos, abres la carcasa delantera, introduces el movil y lo conectas a la clavija, regulas la nitidez de cada lente y a disfrutarlo! No molesta en las orejas ni en la cabeza, los vídeos se ven muy bien y el sonido muy bueno. La usamos con un Galaxy S8. A mi marido le ha encantado y a mi padre tambien. Mi abuela de 93 años la probó por primera vez y estaba alucinando. Os dejo un vídeo de mi abuela que no tiene desperdicio (tiene problemas de visión y ajustandoselas ve los vídeos perfectamente). Las recomiendo totalmente.

Diese Brille sitzt sehr gut und lässt sich auch sehr bequem einstellen. Auch der augenabstand und der Handyabstand lassen sich einfach auf das eigene Wohlgefühl verändern. Die kleinen Funktionstasten an der Kamera helfen ein bisschen bei der Bedienung des Handys, aber ich habe mir trotzdem eine Bluetoothbfernbedienung gekauft. In der Hoffnung dann die Bilder auch weiter ansehen zu können und nicht das Handy immer wieder raus zu holen, das Bild weiterzuschieben und dann wieder reinzustecken. Die Kopfhörer sind gut, um videos anzuschauen. Aber ich musste mir auch einen Adapter dafür hernehmen, da mein Handy kein Auxanschluss mehr hat. Dann funktionierte es aber.

Bon casque pour le prix, le son est OK, les réglages sont pratique. J'ai juste du imprimer en 3d un support d'une épaisseur de 6'7mm pour que l'image soit nette (les réglages ne suffisaient pas) pour un huawei p20 lite, voir photo. Par contre le service client est au top. Réponse dans la journée et suivi. Tellement rare de nos jours, il faut donc le souligner.

Veramente un ottimo prodotto, vale decisamente il suo prezzo. Cuffie comode, la cinghia fa il suo lavoro ed è perfettamente regolabile (cosa essenziale direi). Inoltre è la prima volta che uso VR e simili e devo dire che ho capito al volo come fare( alla fine metti dentro il cell ed è finito il lavoro). Le istruzioni sono complete e rapide da leggere se serve ma è talmente immediato il funzionamento che se ne puo fare benissimo a meno. ne sono rimasto estasiato! (anche perchè è la prima volta, come dicevo, che uso queste cose!) :D

Très Bon produit, peut laisser passer un très léger voile de lumière celon le téléphone mais rien de rédibitoire, très bonne oreillette et les boutons pour naviguer son un plus, assez confortable dans l'ensemble, je dirais que le seul petit problème est câble jack trop court et très mal placé, ce qui faut surtout ce dire c'est de savoir si vous avez le bon téléphone pour la VR. PS: le code pour l'application VR ne fonctionne pas donc un peu galère pour la suite !!!
