Great speaker for a great price
I bought this to use in an old car with no stereo. Works great. Car is fairly loud but i can still hear this speaker over the engine. I do also use it indoors as well. Sound quality is very good in both situations. When compared to a jbl flip 4, sound wise, i felt this was a little more rounded, which i prefer. The jbl flip 4 was a little heavier on higher frequencies, especially when volume is higher. I felt the flip 4 was a little harsh at peak volume but this was less so. Also, with the offset drivers in this, the sound is dispersed differently. I prefer it as wherever you point it, you get your music and it is consistent. Not louder in any particular spot. For the price, this really is a great speaker. It boasts similar features to market leading speakers for a lot less. It feels sturdy and well built. I have not needed to test the waterproof functionality at this point. The battery life is amazing! I've only had to charge it a couple of times so far. Using as a hands free in my old car worked great as well. I have used other speakers that were muffled and the other person had issues hearing me. This was not crystal clear as i was using in the car, but it was much better than what i had used before. If this were lost or damaged, i would replace it like-for-like. If you want the brand name, get the jbl flip 4. That's a great speaker. This one is just as good, just doesn't have the leading brand name or price tag. With this speaker, you can only connect 2 together, whereas with later jbl, you can connect more. But you don't need an app with this. Connectivity is easy and solid. No drops in signal as yet and it connects quickly every time i use it.

Great Speaker!
I’ve had a ueBoom2 box before, which was a bit more expensive, but much worse. I’ve seen (and heared) the Tribit xBoom at a friend and was blown away. My mind: “I need to buy this thing :-) “ Treble and bass are really well at all possible volumes. Amazingly good, I think! Only when you turn it very loud, you realize at some point that the bass is taken back, so that nothing oversteering (is it the correct word??). But that is OK. To the rear side: The rubber strap, behind which is the AUX port and the mini-USB port (to charge), can (at least at the beginning) be opened quite difficult. That is not bad, because so everything is a bit better protected from water penetration. The Powerbutton plays a short (and quiet) melody when turning on and off and shows the current state of charge (4 LEDs of 25% each) According to the data sheet, it keeps a good 20h and needs 4h to load. I have not yet come out of power in between. The x-boom button: Here you can take the bass back or just give full power Then of course there is the pairing button with which all sorts of Bluetooth-enabled devices can be paired. Once pressed long and the discovery begins. To the front: This is kept simple: 3 buttons - Loud, Quiet, and Play / Pause (press once) or continue (quickly press 2x) Pro: - lightweight - stable carrying loop (screwed, no push button!) - great sound! - Price is great! - easy connection to Amazon Alexa (now the Echo Dot sounds like a big one :-) ) Cons: The only thing that comes to mind here: the top and bottom is open. This means that the speaker could sometimes get damaged if something comes to the swinging covers (whatever that is). Here a small grid might be safer. But I will not remove a star because of that. The thing is in the office (the room is determined 40 m2) and now runs almost the whole day, at night is loaded and the next day it goes on.

Mighty little speaker
This little speaker packs a good punch in terms of sound/build quality and value for money. I previously bought the Tribit headphones and was so impressed that when I needed a speaker for my home office this brand was already a shoe in. The build quality of their items is very good and at very good prices. The headphones were around £35 when I got them - an absolute steal. This speaker a bit more of an investment but I see it as having multiple uses. Daily at my home office, in the garden as it’s waterproof and for camping/beach trips. I have even considered wiring up to the tv through the AUX to give my tv some bass! The battery life is around 20 hours which is great, maybe a bit unfair to compare to the headphones which I literally charge in a blue moon. But overall very, very good product. I would thoroughly recommend. I had considered buying a second as I’d read can be used as stereo pair but honestly one is enough to fill a room suitably. Love Tribit, I just wish I had an excuse to buy more of their products!!

Small Speakers, Beautiful Sound
First, I bought my 2 x Tribit StormBox speakers to enhance the sound from both my TV and music system, and so not interested in the speakers portability, battery life or bluetooth capabilities. But the music they reproduce is detailed, clear, has a good mid-range with a very nice top end. But when I activated the bass boost I found the extra bass, to my ears, sounded somewhat artificial so I don't use that feature. However, I do love the sound that my 2 x Tribit SB's produce, so much so that I find that I am now involuntarily bopping to dance-type music and hearing/feeling the emotions in love songs. If I could describe what I'm hearing as food, I would say it's like eating my favourite dessert with an extra sprinkling of sugar on top. Nevertheless, I found a flaw in the Tribit SoundBox speakers, when playing music while being charged the speakers will start to emit a low level frying sound that steadily increases in volume until it suddenly changes to an annoyingly very loud whistling. This noise will last for 10 or so minutes, stop for 10 minutes and then start all over again . So, as long as the Tribit SB's are disconnected from the mains while playing, they behave and reproduce beautiful sounds. If not for this flaw, I would have given this product 5 stars across the board.
