Beach Buddy Fishing Cart

I was very impressed with the unit it was easy to assemble and it only took a few minutes and I was finished. It just so happened that my granddaughter was helping me and kept saying "ride me" "ride me" and as any grand father would I did. It paid for it'self in 10 minutes flat.On the serious side she only weighs 87 pounds and the cart was designed well and transferred the weight perfectly. This cart will last our family for years to come. I am very pleased.

It is a great cart but a little tight for a 48qt cooler and chairs and fishing gear. ..use a smaller cooler and everything fits great

I WOULD NEVER BUY THIS CART AGAIN OR RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE.I ordered the cart at the end of last season and used it once last year. This year we used it over a dozen times and for 2 separate trips to the beach. One week at the OBX and one week fishing in FL. At first I was extremely happy with the way the cart handled although it didn't fit my cooler. We carried tackle, soft camping chairs and an aluminum table mostly. It moved through the sand pretty easily.During our trip to Florida the entire cart broke down. Almost every weld. I figured there had to be a reason.. Bad welding material or something so I contacted the retailer and they were very nice about it. They contacted the manufacturer and told me it was out of warrantee so there is nothing they could do.After further inspection I noticed the weld points are very small. At first it seemed like a good cart but thank god we were back at the truck when it broke. I would have been very aggravated if I had to carry all of my gear because it broke at a the beach. I WOULD NEVER BUY THIS CART AGAIN OR RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE. There absolutely are better carts out there in this price range.

It's like a friend made this for a buddy getting long in the tooth. Compare this to taking a "fall" or worse by the waters edge, and it's worth it I believe. (This only weighs 13lb.) Load you truck with chair, tackle, cooler, etc then use this to carry all to the waters edge. I'm older and have health problems, and this will let me continue to fish.

CPI Designs offers a nice product, but they have some serious quality control issues. The cart was not well packed. Everything was just loose in the box. The hardware pack was missing. I contacted the company and they sent me a replacement hardware pack immediately. The hardware pack was missing the U-Bolts that hold the axle to the cart. Now I'm waiting on CPI to respond to my request for the missing U-Bolts. I'm not sure how many more times I'm going to need to contact the company to get all my pieces to put this cart together. Maybe it was just a coincidence that two shipments were missing pieces. I'm not sure. I would give this cart 5 stars if I could just get all the pieces. It's frustrating and doesn't do much for CPI's reputation.

Great beach cart

A very nice, sturdy product that looks good and handles a load well even on soft sand. You won't be disappointed. Shop.Four items that should be mentioned but did not lower my five-star rating:1. The instructions unfortunately do not reference the installation of quarter-inch washers on the axle U-bolts. That mistake required me, following the assembly, to disassemble and reinstall the axle after I found four washer not used. And, in general, the instructions need work, like more graphics.2. There was discolored material on the front stand that may have been a label for the raw material. It had to be removed with some effort using a label remover and an abrasive.3. The welds are crude looking; nothing to be proud of. A bit of grinding would have resulted in a better looking unit.4. The two lanyards that hold two cotter pins will come undone unless each is wired to prevent that, though I may simply not have known how to engage them properly. A graphic would have helped.

I bought this from another vendor.I was worried it would come in a flimsy box and be damaged.It was drop shipped from the USA mfg in NC.Came in extra heavy,double boxed cardboard!Well made.I would recommend this MFG (CPI Designs).The tires where not secured in the box but they fit adequately snug inside the framework.Very happy with my purchase.
