Fantastic price and quality!
I could not be happier. I live in a condo and the patio doors, while beautiful, have horrendous sealing. In fact, there is no sealing all, the gaps are so large around the frame that I wouldn't be surprised if a squirrel somehow managed to get through!! I kid, I kid, but I really wish I had taken a picture first to show how bad it is. We have horrible wind here as soon as it gets cold, and you can feel the air leaking in just sitting on the couch. We can run the heat all morning, day, and night, and it still will not get warm in most of the rooms. I bought weather stripping like this from home depot last year, but for whatever reason, my husband took it down during the summer at some point..I didn't want to make a whole trip to home depot and walk 20 minutes in the store to find more, so I ordered this. I couldn't believe how affordable it is and was even happier when it arrived! You get two rolls, and they even include a bonus roll of thin scotch adhesive tape in case their backing isn't sticky enough, which is absolutely is! The adhesion and ease was fantastic and I love that you can separate the two tubes! I left them in tact and it was just perfect for what I needed. Because we use the door every day and I can't seal it off compelty, I peeled off only one side of the tubing, placed that side farthest to the edge of the door corners, and left the other tube free hanging over the door gaps. The material is fantastic quality, so it fits snug over and against the gaps, even without that side of the tubing attached to anything. I already felt an immediate difference! Placing my hand over the gaps, I cannot feel any air coming in.I will be purchasing more of this over the weekend!!

Draft seals that actually work!
These are deceptively good seals! They look like they won’t do much, but they work fantastic. I recently built a new shop, which has an upstairs attic area for storage. My lower interior door at the bottom of the stairs was a traditional indoor, unsealed solid door and it was letting a lot of heat come through from the hotter attic area. The shop has AC. I purchased these seals last year and installed them in the door jamb going upstairs. No more heat intrusion into the shop. I also used them to seal my insulated garage doors at the split lines when door opens up. The sticky surface of the seals holds extremely firm. I haven’t had an issue with any of these seals being damaged in one year of constant opening and closing of any of the doors. The result of doing this was the AC cools much faster due to better control of air gaps and intrusion of hot air into the shop itself. The price cannot be beat for what you get. They are NOT simply foam seals, they are more of a silicone rubber composition. Extremely easy to install, cut and stick. During those hot summer months, my AC has consistently cooled down 1050 sq ft shop from 89-94 degrees to 75 in less than 25 minutes as opposed to about 45 minutes before I used these seals. I recently ordered two additional packs of these seals for my other garage attached to the house.

It sticks great on old wood windows; 66' cut and wasteful
I had no issues with the stickiness. The surface you are sticking to must be clean obviously, but also with any weather stripping you have to resist the urge to stretch it by pulling it before applying. Stretching it tight will make it straight but it can also pull up the glue. Just put in place directly without stretching otherwise the elasticity of it could cause it to unstick - but I'm not sure what conditions other people were using it under. I got a roll of tape but didn't use it.My problem is one roll was cut in the middle. I got 66' which is two rolls of 33' which itself is two strips approximately 16.5' long each. So I should have 4 strips of continuous 16.5' weather stripping that I can cut to length. That would be enough for 20 window pieces at 3' each. I have 36" windows. One roll was fine, as described - 10 windows. The other was cut in the middle making 4 pieces of only 8'-3" which only covers 8 windows. Another reviewer described the same problem so it seems like a real issue. Any break in your stripping is an obvious problem for air sealing. You can cut both ends on a diagonal to help but it will never perform as well as a continuous piece. If you are doing doors or different sized windows it may be better or worse for you.Aside from that, I'm not convinced this weather stripping will hold up to repeated compression like you might have if used for a door. It might, it might not.. it's hard to tell. I use more expensive stripping for doors when I need it but for windows that don't open often it's good enough for sure. Would be 5 stars if both rolls were full size.

Light duty rubber seal, soft rubber for seal from leaks
33Feet Long Weather Stripping for Door,Insulation Weatherproof Doors and Windows SealThis is a rather flexible use product, can be formed for mild curves and has self stick glue stripalong the rubber.I have read from other reviews that the glue does not stick well, however, My installation seems tobe holding well. Perhaps they had some movement on their rubber seals where the glue released? The rubber is hollow allowing the seal to easily conform to the space where it has to make a seal.Where some rubber seals are solid foam, this seal has a air chamber along the entire seal.I feel it was easy to apply, do not stretch it as you apply, ;this will make you lose seal later.Very flexy, a soft type rubber, will take most rubs without damage but a severe blow or heavy weightedobject sliding against it can damage it.Worked well for my installation sealing water out.RecommendedI do not know the seller nor did I get any money for my random review241010 0038
