COMFY CHAIR GOOD SUPPORT
So I needed an office chair because the one that I had wasn't really helping my back any. And it just didn't have enough cushion on the chair because when you want to sit for hours at your desk you want to be comfortable. So I took a chance on buying this chair. I thought the color was good and the price was right but I was still a little nervous because it said put together. So I got it right away only took 3 days. And the directions for pretty easy there were a couple of spots that I think we're out of order because you had to kind of play around with the screws going into the holes from the arms but I think if I were to get another chair like this I would probably do it my way because it's pretty self-explanatory but I followed the directions that came with the chair. And hey I'm 65 years old and I put this chair together. It's nice it's sleek and oh my God is it comfortable!!! Right where my lower back and sciatic is I get the support and it just feels good and I know that if I have to be at my desk for 3 or 4 hours I'm going to be comfortable. I highly highly recommend getting this chair. The only issue that I had was the driver did not leave it on my porch. I had ordered a Vizio TV a couple months ago and the driver brought it up to my porch. So I just had to go out and take two steps bring it into the house I really appreciated that. This driver didn't even come through the gate and there is no signs of any dogs because there aren't any. So this driver just left this giant heavy box it was about 35 lb in front of the garage where it was very visible from the road. And I had a dragon to my front door it was heavy I did not like that at all. But it wasn't damaged or anything and I do love the chair. I just don't like what the driver did.

Reliable, Comfortable, and Good-Looking Chair — I Keep Coming Back to It
This is my fourth time purchasing this Amazon Basics mid-back office chair, which says a lot about its overall value. It looks clean and modern, fits well in a home office, and is genuinely comfortable for daily use. I typically get about a year and a half out of each one, which feels reasonable given the price point and materials. Out of the box, the chair is easy to assemble and immediately comfortable. The padding is supportive, the armrests are well positioned, and the faux leather gives it a more upscale appearance than many chairs in this category. It rolls smoothly, swivels easily, and works well for long computer sessions without causing back or shoulder fatigue. That said, this is not a lifetime chair. After extended use, the cushioning and structure do begin to wear, and that’s usually when I replace it. Still, considering the comfort, appearance, and cost, it remains one of the best value office chairs I’ve found — which is why I keep buying it again. Pros: • Comfortable padding and good mid-back support • Clean, modern appearance that looks great in an office • Smooth rolling and stable base • Easy assembly • Excellent value for the price Cons: • Durability is moderate; expect replacement after about 1½ years • Not designed for long-term heavy-duty use Verdict: If you want a comfortable, attractive, and affordable office chair that performs well for daily use, this is a strong choice. It may not last forever, but its comfort and value make it easy to recommend — and easy to repurchase.

Had for just over 9 years now and still pretty solid
I ordered this chair back in December 2015 for our front office, and it's been moved to our back shop where we fabricate. We're not a gentle work space by any stretch of the imagination; we build stuff and it's messy, lots of tools etc. This chair has held up surprisingly well! The faux leather is delaminating almost entirely on the seat but honestly, I'd expect that for faux leather on something that is used daily. The seat pad, in my opinion, has gotten de-poofed. So it's not plush anymore but still usable. I've asked the guy that's using it if they want an upgrade/update and they said they like it and don't want to change it out just yet. That's saying something! The size is nice and wide. We've had a range of differently sized folks sit in the chair over the years and the seat was always comfortable (less now without so much seat poof), I was able to sit cross-legged and the whole chair felt sturdy then as it does now. All of the standards functions you'd want an office chair to do, it can still do: it goes up and down smoothly, it rolls just fine, it's still pivot-reclines comfortably and doesn't feel like it's going to topple. I like it!

Easy to assemble, very comfortable and sturdy.
Chair arrived in a big box. As usual, the Amazon driver did not follow the delivery instructions and left the box right out in the open front porch for anyone to take. We had requested that it be left on the back porch due to prior thefts from front porch. Box was not heavy. Fortunately someone was home and grabbed it. The chair was put together in minutes. Very nice quality, sturdy arms, very soft seat and back padding. It reclines nicely if you so desire. Definitely worth the money.

Ok for the price, but has issues
At this price point, you can't expect perfection, and if you order this chair do keep those expectations low. It is reasonably comfortable, and the faux leather looks and feels nice. However, it is smaller than the ad photos lead one to imagine, and the arms are a bit close in. The back tilts but it's default position can't be adjusted, and the seat tends to pitch you toward the front rather than toward the back. It is easy to assemble (about 15 minutes). Tip: don't fully tighten the arms until after you attach the back, then fully tighten the bolts on all three pieces. My biggest complaint is a strange flaw with the back on mine that presents unevenly where it meets the seat (see photo). I am choosing to accept the flaw rather than attempt an exchange. I don't expect this chair will hold together for long, and next time I'll spend more and be more picky. For the price, this is adequate, but nothing more.

Not straightforward to put together and not comfortable.
Issues in assembly: Hoping that sitting in it will bond the top to the base, just in case I ever need to pick it up. While the chair does not have many pieces and parts, and I am an experienced hand at furniture assembly, this was challenging. You need good light: you are using a black allen wrench to put black screws into a black plastic piece. You also have zero visibility on aligning the 4 screws for the back. And those screws they tell you to put in and not tighten? Be ready for them to pop out and roll off on the floor when you have to apply rather a lot of pressure to the back piece to get it to line up. And you must keep that part squeezed together with one hand while using the other to work the allen wrench. Which is constantly dropping when you have to reposition it. I found it easier to put the arms on first before attaching the chair to the base. So while the first steps take 2 minutes, be prepared for a much longer time for the rest. I actually walked away from it because my hands and back got sore midway thru. Hope it lasts. The old chair was easily 10 years old before the canister gave out and the seat padding was too packed down to pad. But the kitty is ok with the new chair. He already found a place to scratch his chin. This chair has a little give in it, not sure if that is because I didn't tighten everything fully, tho I tried, but it does make you move slightly and might be better than the one that was more rigid. But now to the seat bottom. The plastic fabric that covers the chair is stitched with a thick seam, right under your butt. It is like sitting on a rope. I have tried to cushion it with a cushion but that distorts the ergonomics of the chair. I think the cannister is less responsive, and the arm for it is placed in a really awkward place. You have to leave the chair and turn it around to face you, because the arm blocks your access to it. Also, the chair tipped over once while I was sitting in it. The legs end right under the chair seat, not two inches farther out on each side as on my old chair.
