Bestar Dayton 63W 65W L-Shaped Desk with Hutch in bark Grey

This really is a high quality desk. Weighing in at 250lbs unassembled, its quite the doozy to put together yourself, but doable for most of it. The hardest part is when you need to rotate the desk upward and the hutch on top of the desk itself. I neede my wife to help assist for the sheer size of the items not so much the weight. The drawers assembly was really bad, you need need common sense without looking at their pictures sometimes too. I had a piece missing but they quickly sent it out and I received and installed. The keyboard drawer still needs some adjusting as its not so smooth of an open but manageable. Overall the desk is beautiful and feels and looks it as well. I do warn you though, they are from Canada and tracking is bad and shipping took like 2 weeks, so don't order expecting it quickly. I do want more items from them based on quality and service but the wait time is tough when you are so used to PRIME!

Shipping was a nightmare, and it’s heavy, but once it’s all together it’s a dream. Sturdy, lovely, and it wasn’t any harder than ikea furniture, really. Be gentle with it, as the finish is atop light sand colored wood pulp. Some of the edges get a little frayed from being cut, but nothing that remained visible that I saw. The only thing I had trouble screwing in was the keyboard to the underside of the desk. If it’s not aligned just right it can require a lot of muscle to get it screwed flush. They don’t recommend power drills, and I presume it’s because the pulp style slabs of wood are fragile and could split. I have no idea how i’ll move the thing but I adore it, and my partner ordered one from the same company the day we finished building mine.

Okay - For starters let me just say I am by NO means one of those people who leaves reviews, ever. This is probably my second or third review on anything. With that being said, this desk has been nothing but a headache and complete waste of money. Let's dive in to what happened: It took a very long time to get the desk, nearly 7 weeks. But considering everything going on the world, this was a non-issue for me. What was an issue for me, was when I did get it, the directions were RIDICULOUS - there is 100% easier ways to build this. But, I pushed through it and built it, step by step, and followed them step by step. I read every direction, made sure everything was where it needed to be etc. When it came time to flip over the desk (it requires you to build it upside down and then flip it over. The entire desk fell apart. There were weak points where pre-made holes were made and it was only at these points did everything snap and the wood broke. I reached out to customer service, I have to give credit where credit is due. They were very understanding of what transpired, requested part numbers and within a week I had all the replacement parts. I rebuilt the desk, followed the same steps etc. There was only one weak point that broke (it was one of the foot inserts that makes contact with the floor) - but it broke underneath the drawers so I just left it since its a non-issue (it stayed in, but the side of the wood broke). I've had the desk for about a week now, built. I'm a graduate student so I live at this desk. While I was studying and writing, the L-point where the actual desk is on the opposite side of the hutch just ripped the screws out - causing the whole desk to collapse with my laptop and tablet on it. I'm not by any means a heavy guy, nor was I standing on the desk. Using the desk exactly how it's ended to be used. The customer service was phenomenal, but I cannot believe how poor the quality of this desk is. I will be contacting them today about what we're going to do about this because I am livid at this point. I don't know how to fix this, but we'll see how this goes and I'll give an update.

This all-in-one work center is perfect for a corner in a medium to small room - we have it in a guest bedroom. It has enough storage for our needs and serves its purpose very well. We were concerned as this product has mixed reviews -- ours turned out just fine and had none of the drawbacks noted in other reviews which primarily dealt with damaged and missing pieces. We took a chance because the size was perfect, and it all worked out. There are a few differences in the product vs the one shown on the Amazon site. They are not of such magnitude that we would have made a different decision. Overall, very satisfied.

I had to contact the company that makes the desk as I had multiple pieces broken, as well as broken glass. The manufacturer was very helpful and got the pieces to me quickly. Putting together was a bit of a pain, but once together when you have to move to another house or breaks down and moves very well

The product itself was great. Delivery was not the best as the delivery guys broke the glass told me they broke it but said I couldn’t refuse the delivery. So we received it built it had missing parts plus the broken glass manufacturer sent all missing parts plus glass overnight to us so we could finish putting it together. The build was not tuff very easy but very time consuming. I would buy this again if ever needed. Very sturdy should last just about forever

Solid nice desk

We are very pleased with the price, quality and assembly of this desk. It is exactly what I wanted in the space. I also ordered the matching book shelf and small filing cabinet.
