6502 6500 Series Respirator With 4 Point Harness And Bayonet Connection, English, 15.34 fl. oz., Plastic, 8" x 7.2" x 4"

I go out walking my dog. Or bike riding with my dog. Or something with my dog. I wear glasses or sunglasses. This is a great mask. It's extremely comfortable and I can ride up very steep hills without breathing issues. Is it super covid-19 ready? Eh. I don't put in the filters, because they are bulky and heavy. I'm using it as a sneeze shield. Much like any other mask. You could put a piece of tissue or cotton or anything inside and it would probably beat the pants off any regular covid mask. I don't personally get close enough to people that I got to go full protection. If I did, then I'd have in the filters. I have two versions of this mask. One a knock-off. This one is by far more comfortable and easy to breathe in.

It is very comfortable, and light weight. If you get it with the quick latch feature, it’s very easy and super helpful. I did have a mini hiccup as far as ordering the wrong mask, but they were super helpful and helped me out within the same day, and resolved the issue. Overall great product, I do recommend.

I've bought this respirator at this URL/description from MAGELLAN DISTRIBUTION CORPORATION for $23.87+tax. Didn't dare to try it yet, as it looks as if it has been used or at least "tried". The straps/belts and other parts are not worn at all. It's in a very good condition, but areas all around mouth and under the nose have marks and stains. May it be remaining from the manufacturing processes? Not sure. It's easy to clean-disinfect and this is what I'm going to do.

Got this just in case it was difficult getting protective gear during this time. Excellent mask that would help protect against toxic particles.

Got this respirator for woodworking with CA adhesive. Works great with the pink filters.

Ok so where all in a bind and I purchased one of these to see if it was a good buy for my whole family, as my knowledge is limited. But I've heard that only the USA made ones are the ones you want, as the other countries don't have as stringent policies when it comes to production! Now that's through the grapevine from a friend of a friend who works for 3M so I don't know how accurate that info is. But it's doesn't seem far fetched! I thought this was a USA made mask. It comes in a 3M plastic Ziploc like bag that was not sealed when I opened it up! And the smell is chemical, rubber like smell! I'm not really weak stomached, my wife said it almost made her puke. I just kinda blew it off, but the first time I tried it on today.....It also made me nauseous the smell was so bad! That can't be how these things are made since you have to breath through them! I would use extreme caution! The opened 3M bag on the bottom has a bunch of languages on it, but in the bottom right corner of the back of the bag it says Imported to Brazil 2016! So has this mask been sitting for 4years open and accumulating all sorts of things on it for 4 years? Has it degraded in all that time in anyway? Will it be 100% effective when my life might be on the line, as I'm very prone to sickness and have a disability that causes my immune system to be compromised in the best of circumstances?

I bought this respirator to replace an older 6200 model. The changes that 3M has made are not appreciated. The headstrap plastic as well as the rubber bands are now twice as thick making them uncomfortable and inconvenient when trying to also wear goggles or ear protection. I ended up removing those pieces from the old mask and attaching them to the new one which did not completely work out because the design has changed.

Got this since I was renovating the house. Was doing a lot of wood shaving and smoothing out a great deal of compound molding which leaves a lot of dust. This face mask provided the right amount of ventilation and protection to help complete the task. The air was very clean when taking deep breaths.

I bought this as I have multiple chemical sensitivity and needed a mask for when I use adhesives in my work and this with the vapour filters works a treat. I had to leave the mask it self to off-gas for a while (if you have MCS or MCAS/MCAD you probably know what I'm on about) as it had a smell at first, but now it's great :)

There is a plastic hinged bit on the front that allows tightening without fiddling around doing and undoing the clasp. I found this feature very convenient. A good all round fit and it works well with the filters and covers that you'll need.

Really good, the fit is very good and does provide very easy breathing creating fresh air out of very dusty environments. There is also a large variety of filter types available for the mask. I haven't found a HEPA one yet but I'm sure there is one. One thing to note, be careful of the valves as they need to be seated flush to work properly. They are made of thin plastic which can easly be disturbed when putting them on/off storing them.

The mask I recieved is not the one which is pictured. The one in the pic has the quick release function (6502 QL) however the one I got never had this function. I specifically ordered this mask because I wanted the quick release function so I'm not too pleased. The mask I recieved, though lacking the quick release function is otherwise fine. Just keep in mind you need to buy all filters/attachments seperately.
