Is this tuner radio actually dab+ with a green tick ? And anybody that has one can you plz tell me can it pick up Mi-soul radio on dab clearly !!

The player has a usb input for playing MP3 files from certain devices. Am not sure if an ipod is one of those devices. You could ask Tibo direct. The cd player does of course need connecting to an amp/speaker system to be able to hear anything!

is this compatible with other systems

It has line-level stereo outputs through standard RCA/phono sockets. (It doesn't have a digital output.) It works fine with my Marantz amplifier. Note that the unit is not supplied with a twin RCA/phono cable, so you'll need to provide your own.

Does this has a common problem with skipping when playing cds? i'm trying to work out whether it's the discs i'm using that are at fault

Had a few years , but not used much . Though bought exact same one for my dad 95 years d and he uses it all day and night no issues and a great sound.
