ACDelco Gold 335-1048 (88877258) Alternator

Swapped this into my 1st gen Tacoma for the increase in output. I’ve driven over 7k miles so far and it’s been perfect for charging my second battery and powering all my lights/winch.

Bought this as an upgrade for the stock alternator in my Toyota 3.4L and it worked out great. Had to use a power steering belt and make a spacer but besides that it was a perfect fit!

I ordered this new ACDelco Gold alternator for my 96 Chevy Impala SS on 12 Nov 24 and it went out on 7 Sep 25. ACDelco says I have to send back to place of purchase to get refund or replacement. I just need another alternator for my vehicle ASAP.

I bought this thru the Amazon Warehouse Deals. Fantastic price and very easy install on my vehicle. Fits just like me OEM alternator and is authentic aftermarket AC Delco. Note this is a new, not reman. alternator.

I just received this alternator today for my 96 Buick Roadmaster. The listing shows the country of origin a USA, but the alternator box sticker shows the country of origin as China. The only thing identifying the alternator itself as an AC Delco is the the falling off sticker on it. No GM or Delco numbers on any visible part I can see. That sticker says manufactured FOR AC Delco, not that it was made be AC Delco which is a huge difference as it could be a totally different design that meets, supposedly, the GM and Delco specification. This could be one of the low quality Asian imports that we see so much off lately, but there is no way of telling if it is or not if we don't know who made it. The "made for Delco" statement says Delco had nothing to do with it other than selling it, so just like any discount seller of low quality, low cost, parts. Delco has been importing this kind of part for a long time, typically from Mexico. One review from 2015 even mentions that they got one from Mexico. Those products were fine with OEM type life expectancy and performance. I think many/most of them were made in GM or Delco factories in Mexico. This has none of those things so hard to tell if will hold up or not. The listing on Amazon certainly needs to change as it is not made in the USA. I really don't know if I will keep it or not as this all makes me very concerned about the quality of the product.

Excellent choice for my Caprice SS.It works great with no issues. The only thing I didn't like was the poor packing and shipment. The Alternator came with minor scratches but the box that contains it was total damage.
