Finally! Pants that fit well and are of high quality
I bought these pants based on the recent reviews. It is hard for us "pear shaped" gals to find pants that fit well. So, even thought they seem a tad pricey, I bought these pants. They are made of nice heavy weight material... kind of a canvas material (but softer than canvas). Not overly thick, but nice for fall wear. They fit me just fine I am a plus size (Diva size) gal and they fit well through my seat and legs. I am 5'7" tall and usually wear a 31" to 32" inseam and the length of these pants is also good. I ordered my usual size and the are just right. They have lot of pockets for my cell phone, my wallet, etc.I can see why the are bit more expensive than other cargo pants. These have double knees and seat, and they feel like they will wear really well. Also the zipper and front snap are of good quality. Yes, they close with a snap, but they also have a button hidden inside in case the snap doens't hold up. But, I only use the snap and it stays closed just fine. I found the inside button awkward to use, so I'm glad I don't need it.I washed them when I got them and they did not seem to shrink. I am going to buy another one in a different color.

Not the same but still solidly decent
These were purchased to replace the same version of 5.11 pants ... the old ones were a size smaller, but after reading reviews I sized up and I'm so glad that I did. Although I still regularly wear the size-smaller OG size (threadbare at the cuffs), these were snug.I don't like the "reverse" placement of the snap (it seems to constantly come UNsnapped, which I don't get since still no problem with the first pair), but eh. Change happens and I am still glad I got a new pair to wear to my workplace. Also: I use the gun magazine pocket to store my reader glasses, which fit perfectly in there ... the zing of joy I get having easy access to my glasses is PRICELESS.

Thick stiff material that looks dirty even after washing.
I've always wanted a good pair of 5.11 pants. When I was in Law Enforcement, I loved the look of the 5.11 tactical pants, but back then there were no smart phones, or Amazon, or much by the way of internet, so without a store nearby I was never able to acquire them. I finally got my 5.11's and they are somewhat disappointing. I was expecting the ripstop material that I thought I've always seen them as having, but these were heavy and stiff and they come out of the dryer covered in fuzz. I can't get them to look clean. Lint roller doesn't help. By the time I get one leg done and start on the other leg, the fuzz from the other leg starts transferring to the clean leg. And all of that is futile because the second I put them on and leave the attract fuzz like it's their job. After buying these, I was finally motivated enough to make a trip to the 5.11 store. It's a bit of a drive, but it was worth it. I got the Cirrus style pants, which were a great fit and for 65% off. I got 3 pairs for the price of 1 because they were on clearance. I'll likely be returning these because I can't go to work wearing pants that look like I rolled around on the floor of a pet groomer.

Perfect!
I am a correctional officer and these are just fantastic in the way they fit and feel! Very comfortable! However, the length is accurate (as I found in my experience). Based on the other reviews, I purchased a LONG pant, and they were 6 inches WAY too long. For the record, I am 5'5", and the regular inseam would have been just fine. I also ordered a size up from what I normally wear and again, they were very loose so PLEASE just order what you normally wear in Jeans, and if you're under 5'6" don't get the long unless you want to get them hemmed :) I got mine hemmed to be an exact perfect length for me so perhaps that was a good idea after all, as I have yet to see the regular length to see if maybe they are short. Im also wondering if maybe the sizing is inconsistent.BOTTOM LINE: Order your normal size, and if you're willing to go to a tailor go ahead and buy the long size to be safe!

I love these pants to work in
I purchased these for work. I received the package the next day and it was not damaged. I love these pants to work in. I have been a Paramedic for 18 yrs and these are the best brand of pants i have found to work in and the best quality. The best part is they have women's sizes. They fit a lot better and since they fit better they last longer. I can not say enough good things about these pants if you work in EMS or Fire. The price is great as well. I recommend these to all my fellow EMS workers.

The most uncomfortable pants I have ever worn. I ...
The most uncomfortable pants I have ever worn. I even ordered another pair in the size up and they still fit so awkwardly. Very tight in the hips and groin area and loose everywhere else.

Way too long!
I received these pants today and I tried them on and I was very happy. I'm a 5'10" plus size woman and I ordered the 18 Long. The pants were 4 inched too long. The inseam was approximately 36 inches. The waist band on the 18 Long is approximately 17 inched across the back but has plenty of stretch and are very comfortable. They fit nicely on my rear and thighs, but I think I'm going to have them tapered a bit when I get them hemmed. The rear pockets a little weird, but I guess they are perfect for a notebook or radio if you're in law enforcement.

The best fitting pant I have found
These pants fit better than some of the other EMS pants I've tried. I am 5'6" and normally wear a size 6 in jeans. I am curvy in the hips and thighs. I ordered these in 2 different sizes 10&12. Both fit but I have more room in the size 12 in the hips and thighs but the waist is too big. These do have stretch to them allowing the 10s to stretch out over time but for comfort I went with the size 12. The pants are on the shorter side and I wished they came unhemmed like the Tru spec pants I was wearing before. I do like that they are mid rise and the material is nice and thick (only for winter use). I wish there were pockets inside the leg pockets but I really like the smaller upper leg pocket and the metal loop. I get a lot of use out of those features. For EMS pants these fit best out of the several styles I have tried. I don't believe that there is a perfect pant out there with the right fit and right configuration of pockets.
