Good Value Twine
Ordered Lehigh Just Jute Twine and another mixed fiber twine. They both arrived just as a helper and I were cutting up a wool & flax 12x18 rug into six manageable pieces. Tried both twines to secure the first rolled section. Just Jute won hands down. Used it for all six rug rolls. It was easy to handle, cut easily, did not have many "slit ends", held knots and did not break. We doubled it but Only used one tie-around per bundle! A good product for everyday bundling needs at a good value.

This is good jute twine and I plan to use it both in the garden and in crafts
It's really nice that the twine comes out of the center with the plastic casing holding it all together from the outside. I pulled out about ten yards to carry around in the garden and it is a little thicker or heftier than I expected. It also took a little more force to cut with the scissors than I expected, so I think it will hold things well without breaking. I would expect it to break down over time outside, but sometimes you need twine for something like tying corn stocks or climbing peas that you can just leave for the soil to eat.

Good strong twine
Use this for the garden and tying up recycling material. Strong enough for those jobs and more.

Good for crafts and decorating
Good twine! I use it mostly for decorating and when making gifts - still have tons left (bought it about a year ago). There are strands that come off (you can see it in the picture), so make sure that whatever you need it for still works with it. Some of my beginning stands had weird clumping spots but most of my twine recently has been pretty good. I think I've used a little less than half of what I had (the picture is after a year of use).

but its all wrong for that application -- it might be great for some crafts or who knows
Hrm... Interesting. I bought this to tie-up tomato vines...but its all wrong for that application -- it might be great for some crafts or who knows.... but this is very weak, and quite thin -- These jute's need some weight description equivalent to wire gauge. If this were wire it would be something like 24 AWG -- so its not soft and shaggy and actually cuts into tomato vines. I might have to go back to picking out garden twine hands-on at the local store.
