Love it!!! Very sturdy
Love it!!! My granddaughter loves helping cook and bake. She is going to be three in April so I wanted to get something that she could help me all the time. After lots of research I went with this one for many reasons and it was worth it. It’s slip resistance, very sturdy, the height is perfect. She has helped with laundry using it, helped with cooking, baking and even cutting up her own apple which she was so proud of. Well worth the money, easy to put together and well worth all the smiles since we got it.

Cookies and treats are now within reach.
If your little one needs help reaching the counters or sinks, this is a great tower for them. It is made of hard plastic and is quite sturdy, yet not heavy to move around. I like that it is plastic vs. wood which makes it easy to clean up and you can adjust the height of the step. The tower comes disassembled but took all of about 5 minutes to put together, super simple. My two year old figured out how to climb up into it immediately and it holds her securely in side. The only down side is the base of mine does have the slightest wobble, its not enough for it to tip over but it seems like the tower doesn't sit perfectly flat on the floor. That being said, would I buy it again: Yes.

Stand by me
This is great for our granddaughter to stand by me while I’m working in the kitchen. It is very sturdy and was easy to put together. I had it assembled in less than 20 minutes. I like the material it is made from, because it will be easier to clean.

Love it for my 2yo so much I bouth other Simplay3 things
I got this because I was tired of holding my little one while cooking. I also wanted something we could use as he starts brushing his teeth on his own...but we went another route with that one. But this, I love. The stages are perfect for growing with his height and daring nature. Just when I realized he was really tall against the counter, he started trying to climb onto the counter, and I was able to lower it a level. It's sturdy enough that he isn't jumping to move it around the kitchen. Now, it does give him further reach than when he stands on the floor (he can see into the drawers that he opens and reach a lot of what we place on the counter. But by and large, he isn't cllimbing in unless someone is already in the kitchen. He watches me cook, he serves as the taste tester, does homework when he's not at his desk, and he has snacks there. I'm not concerned about proximity or line of sight because he wants to be there and is okay that I'm not holding him. He's not running all over the place, which means me I don't take nearly as long as I used to when cooking. My back and hips and arms truly appreciate this stool.Oh I had one problem with installation, hence 4 stars for assembly: one of the connecting pieces was the wrong shape, so it didn't fit. I contacted the company (information in the book) and sent pictures of what I had versus what it should have been, and they shipped the proper piece. I got it within days. Beyond that it was a very easy and quick (30 minutes) installation that I was able to do on my own with my son running around me.Sidenote: I love this thing so much, I added the playground equipment to the birthday registry. I never would have known if not for that little booklet that came with the stool. The playground is just as durable and sturdy. Goodbye metal slides that are too hot for little kids' legs....the burn scars I have.

I can make dinner again!
UPDATED Dec 2023: our "tower" is now in use by our 2nd child and will soon be passing down to our 3rd. We received information on a recall, contacted the company, and received the stabilizing base (pictured). We are thrilled to say it is much more stable, the base was an easy install, and the tower lives on in our house! 😊ORIGINAL Mar 2018: My 20 month old, ever-curious, has made countertop activity just about impossible since he was around 15 months old. I realized at about 17 months that he really wanted to see what I was doing, but after falling headlong off a chair twice, I hopped on Amazon and found this awesome product. Whether I'm making his food, doing dishes, prepping his meds, or paying bills on the counter, he can be part of the experience with the "tower", as we call it in our house. I highly recommend this item to anyone else with a toddler or young child who just wants to be part of the action!Pros:Height adjustableEasy for a child to get in and out of on their own when still relatively youngSteps leading to platformLots of bars and rails to grab onto for young climbersBack rail to prevent child from falling out backwardsCons:Non-removable back rail can make getting out without assistance tricky for very young childrenSomewhat heavy to drag across floorIf your child really likes to move, this CAN tip over. Be careful!

A great way to spend to with your kids
I purchased this for my granddaughter. She is 16 months old and loves to sit on the counter and watch while her mom or dad is working in the kitchen. The Tower goes right up against the counter (the picture shows the tower backwards, my silly son), there are four height settings so as your child grows, they will be at a safe height to watch or help. I have two clients that have similar towers and to see their children in it and being to help mom/dad made me want to get one. My granddaughter is in it anytime her parents go near the counter, she always wants to see what's going on. What a great learning experience for all kids, and it's not watching TV or playing silly games on the phones/tablets.
