Excellent for sous vide! No chemicals, thinner than others (which is good).
I looked at a bunch of options and am very happy with this choice. These work great for sous vide and I feel assured they are made of sand, not chemicals. No more ziplock plastic degrading into sous vide foods— They’re easy to use, easy to clean, easy to hang/drip dry. The silicone zip-tie thing is reusable and useful. You don’t need the kind that “zips” shut—I suspect those are more trouble that they’re worth. Just hang these from a rack or over the side of your sous vide tub. Works great. Our family of 4 has been using 2 bags for probably 4 months now, no signs of wear. They seem very durable. Very happy with these. Everyone cooking sous vide should have a set.

Favorite sous vide bag, after initial skepticism
Was looking for a reusable bag to replace Ziploc bags for immersion cooking. I was initially skeptical about this bag not having a sealable closure, but turns out this lack of sealable closure has advantages with easy cleaning. The silicone bags that look like a Ziploc bag seem to deform under near boiling heat (poor material). The Stasher bags material does not deform and they can be sealed, but the thicker material does not conform to food well for good displacement, and Stasher bags are difficult to clean and dry. Although the Platinum Pure bag does not have a seal, it is great because of these reasons: (1) the material does not degrade at 195F, (2) the material is more flexible than Stasher so air is easily displaced, and (3) cleaning is easy because the bag can be easily turned inside out. The material flexibility and easy cleaning are the best advantages. Because the bag can easily be turned inside out, you can clean and dry it with a dish towel, so no hanging bags upside down to dry. Just clean and dry quickly and put away.

Mostly an awesome product
I'm new to the sous vide world but never did want to cook with plastic...that just seems like its defeating the purpose of the health benefits of cooking this way. At any rate, the silicone sous vide bags are holding up quite nicely. I've cooked sous vide almost every night since I purchased these bags and they do a fantastic job of keeping the food tasty and succulent with the added benefit of providing assurance nothing is leaching into my food. If I were to make any critical remarks it would be that the bags are too small and absorb cooking odors. I regularly cook pork tenderloin and find it difficult to get the entire thing well seated in the bag. This isn't a huge deal as I use tongs (the kind that you can cinch closed) to push the bag completely down into the water. (BTW...This works amazingly well for all my recipes and I no longer need chip clips to secure my food to the side of the pot.) After several meals, I have noticed that the bags have taken on a meaty odor from the various dishes I've made. Again, not a big deal because it hasn't affected any of the future dishes in any way but it does give you that "Is this really clean?" feeling. Due to this silicone being one of the cleanest varieties I have found, I am sure the side affect of odor absorption is difficult to address. These also come with silicone ties to hold the bags together at the top and perhaps assist with a better seal from oxygen but I sometimes find I don't even need them. All in all, this is a great product and I'm pleased with the results.

Really happy I got these
I love my Sous Vide but hate the amount of plastic bags I go through. On a whim I thought to search for reusable bags and found these after reading reviews from a couple options. I still have plastic use but these have stopped some of that which I am grateful for. On to the bags themselves, they are thick, durable, and work. They do have a tendency to float so I have to use a strainer or some other method of leverage to keep them well placed after using water displacement method to remove air. They are easy enough to clean and dry by flipping inside out as another person posted and I appreciated. I highly recommend this product after two months of use. I hope they last a long time and expect so as they seem to be well made.

Too thick! Difficult to get sealed. Also difficult to clean
Pros - they do include 'ziptie like' fastners for added security. I like that. Cons - it is actually unexpectedly difficult to get food residue off of these bags. I have no idea why. More importantly, they are too thick to effectively allow for sealing by water displacement. Too fiddly to get the air out of the bags - too multiple tries lifting the food back out and then resubmerging it. Not worth it. I love the idea that it's more pure silicone, but it also has to be easy to use. Thinner bags (I prefer Apple Kore Living's version beause of the thinness) are easier to use.

These work well and are not plastic
These silicone sous vide bags work great. I love it that you can wash them in the dishwasher and they are not plastic. It’s a bit fussy to wash them, even just rinsing them before you put them in the dishwasher, but it’s fine. I’m so happy to have a product that works well for the sous vide that I feel confident is much better than plastic and is completely reusable. The silicone seems quite tough. I think they’re going to last a long time even with nearly daily all day use.

Tested Silicone vs vacuum bags
Decided to test the newly purchased silicone bags against vacuum bags. Silicone bag easy to fill with food while vacuum bag required more steps to prepare for sous vide cooking. Silicone bag easily sealed around food using water dispersement method. Used magnets to guarantee submersion in water for both bags. Cooked at 155F for 7 hours with perfect results, moist and tender. Silicone bag cleaned with dish soap and hot water with only slight staining noted. Reusable bags needed more effort to clean. Definitely like the silicone bags better. Two bags for the price was a good deal. Quality material and durable and now my preferred sous vide cooking bag. New to sous vide cooking and still learning and right tools is necessary for successful meals. Highly recommend this product!

Love
Stain but work great! Best pork chops. Love no Micro plastics and reusable.

Good size, easy to use and very easy to clean. Was concerned about not sealing, but seal off nicely with water pressure. Need to be sure secured at top since not sealed, if fall in water, bag will fill, but has not been issue so far. Only downfall is that can’t double as marinade bag before cooking (b/c doesn’t seal), but not big deal. Would recommend.

A little trickier to use than a vacuum bag, but reusable time as after time. Best of all, you can add liquid to the bag and sous vide that. I tested with a large corned beef with perfect results, and also honey and mustard carrots.

These are very high quality sous vide bags, and would be great for slower cooking applications. They come with adjustable silicone ties which can be used to suspend the bags from above, or over the side of the cooking container. Plus, they're reusable so less waste! Being silicone, they can actually double as a mit or trivet in a pinch.

Super easy to clean.. I was skeptical about the fact that it didn't have a closure seal, but that's no problem at all. Works perfectly.. Does not float up in the Sous Vide pot.. Have done Sous Vide Chicken Maryland with marinade twice now. Finishing in a hot oven to crisp skin..
