Have used this to top up tyres on 2 cars and a mountain bike (using the included presta valve adapter). It's easy to use once set up and the digital pressure gauge is more accurate than many pumps I've used. I did find the stowage of the power lead and air hose internally was very tight and awkward to get out at first without using excessive force so I only put the power lead back in. This highlighted that the provided carry case isn't designed to cater for the compressor with the hose not stowed inside - but you can make it work with a bit of thought. Also the pump's auto cut-off at the pressure you set is maybe a bit trigger happy and cuts off early. This is easily compensated for by setting the target pressure a little (eg 0.5psi) higher than required. Had a reason to contact Arteck customer support (via Amazon) with an enquiry and found them to be very responsive and extremely helpful. So far I'm very happy with the product and manufacturer.

This pump topped up my car tyres and bicycle tyres very quickly. It worked perfectly and seems to be more substantial than many other inflators on the market. The thick electrical wire appears to be particularly durable. However, the wire is rather stiff so after use, it is very difficult to place it in its storage slot. Although the pump came with a smart zipped pouch, the pouch is a very tight fit. A slightly larger pouch would be better, to allow more space to wrap the wire around the pump. The product also includes a bicycle tyre adaptor, which was supplied in a tiny plastic bag. However, there is no clip or socket for this small part on the pump casing, to prevent the adapter from being mislaid.

Effective. Good functionality. Easy to use. Bought a couple of other pumps in the past, this one much better and works a treat. Nice long wire. Added light and pre-set pressure function makes this so simple.

After getting fed up of faffing about at petrol stations topping up my tyre pressures, plus its now £1 a go near me, I decided to invest in one of these instead. I did some research and opted for this one due to other positive customer reviews. What a great little gadget, very easy to use, just topped up my front tyre from 27psi to 33psi in a couple of minutes if that. I'm pretty confident the pressure is correct as the warning light on the dash went out straight away. My only negative comment is the same as most other reviewers, getting the wires to fit back inside the box is tricky. I've managed to squeeze it all back into the case, but the case could do with being a little bit bigger. Other than that, can highly recommend.

I’ve bought this for car tyres. It’s easy to use and I prefer the screw on valve (as opposed to a clip on one). The light is strong enough for using in the dark. It’s a lot quicker to inflate tyres than a previous tyre pump that I had so that’s a great bonus. For a couple of reasons I’ve knocked off one star. Firstly, the cigarette lighter plug for power is not super snug so it can be a little temperamental at times but only on the odd occasion. Secondly, the hose and wire are virtually impossible to put back into the unit which renders the fabric pouch to be of little/no use.

Quiet compared to others - but hard to use tyre attachment. Getting the tye connector on is OK, but getting it off very difficult. The display fickers and the pump did not stop when it reached the programmed pressure. My search for a great tyre pump goes on ...

Have had a couple of compressors before that have been a load of rubbish so was kind of expecting similar for this one. I've been very pleasantly surprised with this little machine! I used it on a tyre that was pretty much flat and it was powerful enough to fill it within a couple of minutes. The digital display is much better than a dial as I've used previously. It means you can accurately see the actual pressure and being able to set the desired pressure is a great feature. It means you can potter around the car whilst waiting for the tyre to inflate without having to constantly watch the pressure. The light has more than one mode; white, red and red flashing. I'm not sure how often I would use this but its a good feature to have. I like that it packs into its little case as it keeps it tidy in the car.

I've been in the market for a portable 12 volt pump. I just stumbled across this interesting tire compressor pump and Amazon got it to me in 2 days. What caught my attention was that this pump goes up to 150 psi, is digital read out with auto shut off at your preset pressure, can run for 30 minutes without overheating, has a separate switch for the trouble light, can run with 10 amps, yet it was 1/2 the price of most of the completion. There were hardly any reviews, but for the price of two packs of cigarettes for my wife, I figured I would see if this little pump could do what I needed. The 10 foot 12 volt power cord and the less than 2 foot air hose both neatly fit inside the pump housing and I had no problem getting them to fit back into the pump after using them. The pump comes in a quality case/pouch that is only 6.5 x 8 inches. The power cord had no problem reaching the 4 tires. The screw on connector is smooth, short, and easy to use and hardly lets any air escape when putting on or off. I was able to bring a 235/70R16 SUV tire from 8 psi to 33 psi in about 4 minutes. Topping off some tires that had dropped just a few pounds, pumped right back up in a fraction of a minute and of course, shut off at preset. Another plus is that the pump was able to run fine on my GOOLOO 18000 mAh jump starter too. I had previously bought the optional cigarette lighter socket/adapter cord. So the pump plugged in nicely. The digital display has an orange back-light with easy to read characters even when standing up and looking down on it. The pump is sure footed and does not vibrate around while running. It has rubber feet for both horizontal or vertical use. It is too soon to determine durability or how long it will last, but for right now, I think it is a terrific value and I give it a 5 star rating. I'm very happy with my purchase.

I was impressed with the compactness of this unit and its easy of operation. This tire inflator comes in a compact black carrying case, 20 x 16 x 7 cm. All accessories fit in the unit, so that you are not likely to lose anything. The pressure hose and cigarette-lighter cable also fit in the unit. The inflator's operation is simple: plug the unit into the cigarette-lighter socket of your car, set the desired pressure, connect the chuck to the tire valve, and press the power button. The inflation stops at the pressure selected. The pressure is shown digitally on a large, bright screen in your choice of three units: kilopaschals, bars (which is kilopascals x 100), and pounds/square inch. Setting units and desired pressure is as easy as pushing a button. The unit works on car tires and bicycle tires. There are also adapters for balls, etc. The unit also has a light in three modes: constant, blinking, SOS. Be aware that the length of the cigarette-lighter power cable with the air line attached is only 3.5 meters. This might not be long enough for bigger cars.

Aluminum rims have always been a short-coming of my car; all four wheels suffer from chronic bead leaks that need attention weekly. This air compressor has been a great companion, and really pulls through. I've had it four ~3 months, so I can't speak to long term reliability, but I've had no technical issues thus far. However (and this might just be common in all 12-V compressors), it's weaker than I expected and can take ~7-10 minutes to pump up an especially low car tire (from say 16 psi to 35 psi). It also caps out at about 61 PSI, which I found out while pumping up my bike tires. Overall I'm happy, and it's very handy in a pinch; it also comes with a bonus set of heads and caps. Can't complain much considering the price.

This comes in most handy when you have changes in weather. You can loose a few psi of air and your tire pressure light will come on. But instead of driving to a auto shop or paying for air at a gas station, I just whip this out. Pro's -saves money by not having to go to a gas station and pay for air. -saves time by not having to drive to an auto shop or gas station. -compact, so can be stored inside your car without taking up a lot of space. -automatic shutoff at the target pressure you pre-set. -can read the tire pressure as it is pumping up. Con's- (not bad enough for me to knock off stars) - quite loud.....sometimes I wonder if I'm disturbing by neighbors when I use it. -hard to get the cord back into its little storage hole on the unit.
