I don’t usually write reviews but I had to for this product. I have had seborrheic dermatitis for years caused by hormonal issues, and aside from hormone medication, I felt totally lost on what to do for my scalp. I tried tgel for years, which I honestly think dried out my scalp and caused excess oil production making the problem worse, and I could only go without tgel for a day or two before having to use it again. My scalp was constantly oily, my hair was falling out in clumps for awhile, and even with prescription antifungal shampoo it wouldn’t clear up. This shampoo worked so quickly I’m in awe. I’ve been using it for about a month and I can go longer without washing my hair without any of the discomfort from seborrheic dermatitis. There’s definitely still some there but the progress is so much quicker than anything else I’ve tried. It did burn the first couple times I used it but I think my seborrhea must have just been pretty bad at that point. My scalp has not been itchy or burning in weeks, its much less oily so I don’t think the shampoo is drying it out, and I’m losing less hair. The smell isn’t amazing or anything but its much better than tgel, it just kind of smells like sunscreen and it doesn’t leave your hair feeling dry like tgel. It’s probably about the same price as tgel for the size of the bottle but even if its more expensive, it’s worth it.

Pleasantly surprised!! This shampoo is exactly what I’ve been needing. The scent is a light powdery floral scent, and it isn’t overpowering or strong at all, just faint. It lathers easily and beautifully, and my hair felt so soft while massaging the lather. I was caught off guard by the opaque light orange color of the shampoo, but it’s not an issue, just wasn’t expecting it to look like that. I let it sit on my scalp for 5 minutes and after rinsing, my hair was squeaky clean and in need of conditioner. I don’t think the shampoo is color safe, I could see some bleeding, but perhaps that was the temperature of the water also? I washed my hair hours ago and I can already tell that my scalp is healing of the seborrheic dermatitis flakes because my scalp also feels very soothed. I’m going to use the shampoo again in a few days but I’m feeling very confident that this treatment has worked.

Apparently, your skin produces a natural yeast that for most people is no big deal. Unfortunately for people like me, the body goes overboard on this production and can lead to random rashes on the skin. I use this shampoo as a body wash once or twice a week and it works to keep this yeast under control. It works great, leaves my skin feeling soft and overall, I am happy. I don't love the smell when I pour it onto my scrubby, but it rinses away and the odor doesn't linger on the skin so overall it is fine.

I started using this shampoo at my MIL's house and was blown away at how good and simple it was. I have a really sensitive scalp and this does wonders for me. The only downside is that I feel like I have to use a lot of it because it doesn't lather the best, even though I have thin hair. I will probably go through a 16oz bottle pretty fast washing every 3 days or so. My hair feels smooth and shiny afterwards. For conditioner I use shea moisture castor oil conditioner. It seems to be a good pairing for my thin wavy hair.

I have eczema on my scalp, and finding a shampoo that actually helps has been difficult. I started out with Dove, but then I thought I needed an expensive salon shampoo. So I tried Moroccanoil's hydrating shampoo, which smells fantastic and my hair was soft, but it did not help my scalp. Plus.. it was $26 for an 8.5oz bottle! Then I tried the Regis Salon "Deign Line" moisture shampoo. It actually worked really well, but it's about $40 a bottle. Then I tried "Function of Beauty", which is a personalized shampoo. You tell them your concerns and hair type, then they send you a custom shampoo. That did not do much for me either and it cost about $30. I was feeling hopeless until I tried THIS shampoo. I started out with the smallest bottle, just to test it, but now I regularly buy the 16oz. I've been using it for close to a year and my scalp only starts to itch if I don't wash my hair for about 3 days. It smells alright, like a medicated shampoo lol, but after your hair dries it doesn't have much of a scent. I did try their conditioner as well and the smell is the same. Personally, the conditioner isn't worth it for me. I did not notice a huge impact when using it, so instead I use the Dove Dermacare Scalp Conditioner (also has Zinc in it). Using a different conditioner also helps to give it a nice smell, but I don't let it touch my scalp. TLDR: This shampoo is great if your scalp needs help. It is priced very fairly. Don't expect to smell like sugar plums and cherry blossoms. You don't need the conditioner.

The positive results have been noticed after the first few days of using this shampoo. Unfortunately after two-tree weeks of continuous using it didn't solve the problem (mild form of psoriasis). This shampoo doesn't dry the scalp like other brands, definitely slowed the hair loss process. I would highly recommend it to anyone who has problems with scalp as an addition to the main treatment. Has been delivered very fast too!

Made my face burn

This is the only shampoo that relieves the itchy scalp that came along with menopause. I tried high-end shampoo brands like Eufora, regular Head and Shoulders, extra strength Delsum, everything I could think of. The key must be the zinc in this.

I bought this shampoo as I have Shingles with the rash all over the left side of my scalp. Using this shampoo calmed the rash and I had some relief for a while. Although my hair felt very dry when rinsing it it was fine when dried.
