A great product
I usually buy stevia glycerite or pure stevia powder for when I'm making things at home, but I purchased these packets to store in my purse for when I'm at a restaurant or travelling. The taste is very pleasant - as with any stevia, if you use too much it will be unpalatable, but a packet or two in my tea tastes just like sugar to me. When I'm baking with more concentrated stevia, I always add a small amount of sugar alcohols or honey in order to mellow out the strong flavor that stevia can have on its own, and the erythritol in these packets is a very nice natural bulking agent that achieves the same effect. (Erythritol is also a good sweetener on its own, so I was happy to see that it here instead of the ingredients that other stevia packet products use.) Now, when I purchased 4 boxes of Stevita 2 months ago, I got it for a very good price: $2.49/box + $3.95 shipping & handling, for a total of $13.91. It was so cheap that I was scared, despite the positive reviews, that I was buying something inedible. So it was pretty pleasing to find out that the inexpensiveness did not mean a lower-quality product! Right now the price has increased quite a bit, at $5/box with free shipping as an add-on item. That was slightly discouraging to me at first, but then I looked at the other stevia packets available on Amazon: Purevia: cheaper per count; includes dextrose, cellulose powder, and natural flavors NOWFoods Better Stevia Original: cheaper per count; includes rice maltodextrin and silica Truvia: more expensive per count; includes erythritol and natural flavors SweetLeaf: more expensive per count; includes inulin soluble fiber Stevia in the Raw: cheaper per count; includes dextrose NuNaturals: more expensive per count; includes maltodextrin and natural flavors Wholesome Sweeteners Organic Stevia: cheaper per count; includes organic agave inulin and silica NOWFoods Better Organic Stevia: cheaper per count; includes organic inulin and silica The bottom line is: if you handle sugar alcohols well (not everyone does), and if you can't handle/don't like the alternative bulking agents, then I still think you're getting a reasonable price for this product. It really depends on what you do and don't care about, ingredient-wise. As someone who is fine with sugar alcohols but doesn't react well to a lot of those bulkers, and prefers a purer product in general, I'm very happy with the quality of Stevita and will be definitely buying these packets again when I run out!

Best overall Stevia Product we tried
We tried 4 different Stevia products to see which we would like the best. We compared the taste, any aftertaste, how fast it dissolved in cold liquids, specifically mint tea, and cost. We tried Stevia Supreme, Truvia, Sweetleaf, and Spring Valley. Stevia Supreme came out the best. It dissolved reasonably quickly, had a good taste, little or no aftertaste, seems to be one of the best for having the least added ingredients, and it is a very good price from Amazon. Truvia was our 2nd choice. It was best for quickly dissolving in cold liquids, and also had a good taste, but we had 2 problems with it. My husband thought it had a slight aftertaste (I didn't notice it) and the label lists "natural ingredients" which could be anything. Also, it was a bit more expensive than the Stevia Supreme at our local supermarket but not a lot (and a lot less than I am seeing it today on Amazon!). Third is Sweetleaf. It has a sweet flavor and very little if any aftertaste, but it is so very mild that it doesn't make the drink as sweet as the others. If you use too much to try to get the sweetness, it will taste bitter. It takes a longer time to dissolve and it is also more expensive than the Stevia Supreme. Fourth, and not recommended at all, is the Spring Valley Stevia. I got it at Walmart for the lowest price of all the Stevia products, but it has a very strong aftertaste in my opinion and after trying it for a few days, I threw the rest away. I've used other Spring Valley products and been happy with them, but this was clearly inferior. Spring Valley was the only one that I did throw away because all the others were overall satisfactory, but the Stevia Supreme was the best in our opinion.

It's Not Sugar!
I think a lot of people look at sweetener and they have to compare it to sugar. If you like sugar, then you need to use sugar. Plain and simple. But if you're "willing" to try other items to sweeten things, then certainly I think Stevia Supreme is worth a try. I found out about this product fist by doing a Google search on Truvia, and read a great article about that. . . and that's where I found out about Stevia, and why it's a "dietary supplement". So. . . I came to Amazon.com and found Stevia Supreme. I read the reviews and decided to try it. . . and I'm glad I did! When I first put some on my finger and tasted it. . . YUCK! I thought . . . this is NOT sugar! But then I decided to try it in some lemon/lime-ade and I really like it! I think it's quite a bit "sweeter" than sugar. But make no mistake . . it's NOT sugar. I make quick lemonade or limeade (or lemon/lime-ade) with True Lemon / True Lime True Lemon Crystallized Fruit Wedge ~ 192 Ct Bulk True Lime Crystallized Fruit Wedge ~ 192 Ct Bulk This makes a refreshing, sweet beverage. I certainly don't think that Stevia Supreme is going to work for everyone. . . but. . . at this price, you can try it and see if it's right for you. As more and more reports are coming out about other sweeteners not really being very good for you. . . and Stevia has been used for many . . .many years. .. I think I'll stick with Stevia Supreme. . .at least for now. :-)

No Maltodextrin, but NOT pure stevia, as Xylitol is the first ingredient - most disappointing!
