MegaGear Canon PowerShot SX740 HS, SX730 HS Leather Camera Case with Strap - Black

I bought this case so that I could secure the camera on by belt. I was very pleased with the padding and the fit. The SX-740HS slides in and out easily. I will not be using the shoulder strap, but it appeared to be nice quality as well.

I bought this case a few years ago and really liked. Then few months ago I bought another one, but it was too small for the cameras. I contacted MegaGear and told them the case is too small and provided the size and dimensions. They fixed the problem and sent me a new case. Now it fits perfectly for both cameras. This is a very attractive case that my camera fits into snugly. However, I have already gotten a few scuffs on the surface, which is disappointing. But, I love the magnetic closure that lets me pull the camera out quickly.

The camera case arrived on time and delivered very quickly. Well packaged and arrived undamaged. Camera case fits my camera well and protects my camera when travelling, looks very good .the camera case is well made and durable.. the camera case can be worn on the belt of your trousers or using the long strap.

Seems like there's some quality assurance issues since some reviewers say the bag will fit a Canon SX740 HS and others say it won't. Unfortunately the one I received just barely fits. You really have to squish the camera in to get it to fit and it's really difficult to get it out once it's in. Also feels a little scary how much force is needed to squeeze the camera in. The reason for a point and shoot camera is so you have quick and easy access to a small but capable camera and that is completely negated by the fact that the camera is so difficult to get in and out of the bag. The quality and style of the bag itself is nice and it's a shame the measurements are off. The magnetic clasp holds it well and the leather feels thick enough to provide decent protection. Would have loved to use this as a camera bag but unfortunately I missed the return date and will have to find some other use for it.

Make sure to measure your camera! I've got an old Leica Mini II and it fits snugly, but not so tight that the magnetic closure doesn't engage. Love the strap so I can carry it around, and detach to have just the case in my purse when I don't want to wear it. Looks great too, so a great bang for the buck!

Order this because it was to arrive before my girls trip. Day of arrival changed and still hoped it would make it, changed again…did not arrive on time. Other than the changes of arrival which was upsetting the case serves its purpose.

This case fit my camera perfectly, no extra room to pad the inside for a battery or SD card. Just enough room for the camera. Must have been a design change since one person mentioned they were able to put something inside the case next to the camera. Not so with the one I got. So far, very pleased with the case.
