Seagate Game Drive for Xbox, 2 TB, External Hard Drive Portable HDD, Designed for Xbox One, and Two-year Rescue Services (STEA2000403) , Green

I used this product with an Xbox One S 1tb UK version. I have been using this product for a while, 5-6 months maybe longer. Absolutely no issues. In fact I am seriously considering upgrading to the 4GB product. Ease of use: Cannot get any easier than plug into a USB port. A baby could plug this thing in, (though nobody should Never allow a baby or a young child anywhere near electric of any sort.) My only complaint, Seagate you reading with your ears open? Needs a hook or strong hole with wings molded into the housing somehow. The very short USB cable is our, us customers problem but Seagate, help your customers attach your product safely away from other electrical devices on the nearest wall as recommended in your guide, thus preventing damage caused by accidental falls from the USB cable straying into oblivion until big human vessel clashes with it knocking the hard drive onto the Planet Floor surface or another entity, a Dog decides to have USB cable for a snack. Hmm, shockingly delicious. (See what I wrote there? Shockingly delicious.. Shockingly... Nevermind.) SeaGate, This is A great product but could be an Amazing product... give this product a new great usable housing. Add the ability to hang on the wall with hooks, "Yuk", or my favourite, Strong holes with inner wings for us customers to hang anywhere we decide providing its away from other electrical devices or alternatively, Seagate, you could just add some, INSULATION thus protecting the hard drive from whatever it needs protecting from. That's okay Seagate, no trouble at all but I'll quite happily trial your new hard drives with insulation if and when you invent them.

Having owned an Xbox One for precisely a year, owning roughly 10 games on disc and a few other games which I downloaded with the Xbox One's "Games With Gold" scheme, I ran into a problem where the internal 500GB HDD on my Xbox One console got full. It is definite that other Xbox One users will run into the problem, much quicker in fact if you are an avid gamer. The "Seagate Game Drive for Xbox" was an absolute doddle to install. Simply remove the drive from it's packaging and connect it to your Xbox One console using the provided USB 3.0 data cable. The drive is self-powered, which is an added bonus as no external power supply is required. May I remind you that you do need to format the Game Drive before you can use it with your Xbox One. When you format your Game Drive, you will need to give it a name. The Xbox One's internal HDD comes already named as "Internal", so I decided to name the drive "External" (of which the Xbox One automatically names the drive when you first try to format it, of which can be renamed at a later date as an added bonus). Once the drive has been connected and formatted, you can straight away start using the Game Drive. After formatting the drive, you are given the option of whether you want new games installs to automatically install to the external HDD, of which I opted for due to the Xbox One's HDD only having a SATA II interface as apposed to the faster USB 3.0 interface of the "Seagate Game Drive for Xbox". Also because of this reason, I have transferred all of my old installs to the external HDD. The drive is also very easy to carry around, due to it's lightweight 170g design. As opposed to the "Xbox" branding on the drive, I believe the difference between this drive and the generic Seagate HDD is also the data transfer rate, which is rated at 625MB/s as apposed to just 500MB/s of data tranfer rate on the generic drive. This should result in faster loading times and quicker transfer/install speeds, which is ideal for an Xbox One console where you are always working with Gigabytes of data. This drive is compatible with both Xbox One and Xbox 360, however I cannot see anybody needing 2TB to store Xbox 360 games, due to them not needing installing and updates being much smaller. Because of this drive, my Xbox One console now has 2.5TB of storage as opposed to the 500GB I had before, which simply wan't enough. I highly recommend this product to those who are looking to expand the storage on their Xbox One console (especially avid gamers). Well worth the purchase!

I paid the extra money for this drive simply because the other drives I looked at are typically half the speed and generally for backup only. This drive works perfectly on my Alienware system for the 'every day' stuff and the fast drives I have are used for everything else, but don't assume from what I said that this drive is horribly slow, it is not! While others here seem to generally comment about the XBOX use for this drive I have successfully used it none stop on my PC for transferring stuff that I don't use all the time (pictures, archive video for editing and compiling etc.) and it has not failed in any way. Singular thing I don't like is the wall wart of a power supply that they have. But when you turn off the PC this drive turns off automatically too so it's not really a pain. This drive is USB 2 & 3 compatible and I use mine with USB 3 which as most will know adds a far greater transfer rate. Typically I get about 200Mb speeds or thereabouts (it varies on what the drive is loaded with) and the 'free space in Windows 10 is in reality about 7.2 Terabytes of real storage. Highly recommended compared to other similarly priced stuff and some of the WD drives I looked at cost 1/3 more for USB2... this was by far the best choice for me and I don't care whether it says Xbox on the cover or whether it says peanuts :). Nice in white too, and I also like the USB connectors on the front of the unit for connecting other devices as I seem fit. It's certainly useful for a PC user and it works fine on my XBOX (latest version too, which I tried before using the drive on my PC which was its real purpose of use.

Es ideal para la xbox, encajan de maravilla los dos blancos, no hay que instalar nada a menos que quieras usarlo para multimedia, al conectarlo te pregunta el uso que le vas a dar, si es para juegos se formatea con un protocolo especifico, el formateo no tarda ni un minuto y a funcionar, yo he probado a estar descargando un juego y jugar otro al mismo tiempo, los dos en el disco duro claro, y va perfecto, no tiene ningún problema de velocidad. Un buen producto

El diseño es muy chulo y diferente. Se lo compré a mi chico y está encantado.

El producto me llego en tiempo y forma como lo pedi al dia siguiente (prime). En perfectas condiciones la caja, y el disco duro completamente nuevo. Recomiendo altamente comprar este disco duro si lo que buscas es mas espacio para tu Xbox One y poder tener mas juegos instalados en tu consola, es demasiado sencillo de instalar, unicamente tienes que conectarlo a cualquier entrada de USB de tu Xbox y de inmediato te aparecere un mensaje de como deseas usarlo, si es para juegos te da esa opcion y en menos de un minuto ya tienes listo el espacio para tus descargas. El color verde es muy ideal para combinarlo con la consola en color negro ya que parece un videojuego a lado. Cualquiera que dude en si comprar o no, mi recomendacion nuevamente seria si hacerlo y que mejor que cuando este en descuento. Saludos!

I am very happy with my purchase, got it at a great price from Amazon; loaded all my XBox One games on my new Seagate Game Drive and still have more than 1/3 space left. Games load in a decent speed, Game Drive's top shell is Green in color, with an LED indicator light, and its good looks that matches my Xbox One system. Build quality is excellent!

Excelente compra, envio rapido y seguro, el producto llego en buenas condiciones, la caja sellada y en el paquete que venia estaba protegida para conservar la integridad.
