Durable and useful if you have a toaster oven. Can’t live without it.

These are great for getting little pans out of toaster oven or when you don’t want to use bulky hot pads or oven mitts. They do protect your fingers from gettin burned.

This little silicone pot holder (Trudeau brand) is the perfect size for grabbing baking sheets or casserole dishes from the oven without the mess involved when a larger oven mitt or hot pad accidentally touches the food. The upper part is wide enough to protect the thumb with room to spare and the lower part is wide enough to protect all four fingers. I wish they would sell them in pairs (at a discount), because having just one isn't enough when you need both hands to lift something as heavy as a casserole dish from the oven. Heat resistance is impressive, too (up to 428 F).

I had a set of two and lost them at a pitch-in. I went back to the store where I had bought them probably 10 year earlier, but they no longer carried them. I found them here and ordered. They are the exact ones that I had and I love them! They are the right size for your thumb and a couple fingers. I am short and my microwave is above the stove so they are perfect for getting things out of the microwave because they grip tight.

Have always had these in our kitchen and always in use. They are great. But I am just getting this red one to make mine a pair of the same color, because it has always bothered me that I always had only one of each color, one in red and one in teal. So this makes it a perfect red color pair now, next to my black pair from Le Creuset which I also highly recommended whether you have any Le Creuset cookware or now.
