If like me you are following Dr Ellie Phillips dental care protocol, these tiny timers make it much easier. You see, Dr Ellie recommends 3 different types of mouthwashes, twice a day, and these mouthwashes require different times. Thirty seconds and 60 seconds, to be precise. You can watch the clock, but sometimes it's easy to forget where the second hand started, plus watching the clock can be hard on your neck when you're leaning over the sink. Additionally, there is the 2-minute toothbrushing which can result in too much or too little time spent on some parts of the mouth. I find the 30 second timer is perfect to use and brush by quadrants. If I sound a bit OCD, I probably am, but the money and pain you save by doing the teeth the right way is worth it. Of course these silent timers which go up to 10 minutes will work for short meditation and holding yoga poses. You can time an egg. Whatever. Use your imagination. They are attractive, small, colorful, fun.

These timers are so useful for me and my daughter!

So far I love them! I haven't taken the time to check and make sure they actually are the right times but I am eager to get to using them with my son. He has ADHD and his OT was saying timer help a lot with different tasks so we are going to start using them to ease the struggles *hopefully* and make some things a little more fun ! They seem to be pretty well made, thick plastic. I love that they are color coordinated so I can't mistake which ones being used! I'll check the time later and update ya 😉 they are small I think bigger might been a little fun, but definitely fair for the price!!! (Depicted in toddler hand for size reference:)

These are nice colorful timers, but the sand got caught in some of the timers, and few of them were accurate in time. I do love the vibrant colors and how easy it is to use.

Exactly as described

The cutest most portable little sand timers ever! And more importantly that how they look is how great they perform! I took them out, one by one and began timing them against an electric timer. The 30 sec, 1 min, 3 min, 5 minute and 10 minute sand timers were either exactly on time or within 1-2 seconds in sync with the electric timer. I have so many uses in mind for these timers and know that I'm going to enjoy them very much!
