General Pencil Charcoal Pencils 2/Pkg, 4B, Grey, 130344

I like the 4b charcoal because it’s not too hard and not too soft. And this is a good brand that I’ve been using since art school. The pencil form saves a lot of the messy fingers that you get with straight up charcoal sticks. The pencils are used up fairly quickly though, and I need to stock up. I can easily go through half of one of these 4b charcoal pencils by the time I’ve completed one large 18” x 24” drawing.

This brand of charcoal pencil is the best brand! Very true and rich tones. Just remember to use a really good MANUAL pencil sharpener. Charcoal pencils are much more delicate by the nature of the material. Other brands of charcoal pencils are way too brittle and they can scratch or leave very uneven strokes. I will always go back and buy General's charcoal pencils! Below is an artwork I created using these pencils. You won't regret this brand!

A good deal on quality charcoal pencils. These are perfect for what I needed in an art class. I enjoy the medium so if I use them both up I will likely order again in the future. Thank you!

I haaatttteee charcoal.I’m giving this a 4 star because it isn’t the product’s fault. It is a little grainy making it even scratchier. (Shudder)I’ll stick to graphite.
